Absoutely amazing trip!!!! The timings were excellent !!! Well worth doing. Easy to purchase the tickets from this site. Picked up from our hotel at 8am. Plenty of stops for a break and then one to sight see before going to the cable car base. And another stop on way home. We did bring a pack lunch incase we didn’t have time to purchase anything. As you do have limited time on the stops. Also the stops (restaurant / gift shop on route and back ) now charge for use of the toilet. 1 euro per adult. Kids free. At cable car base tickets provided and we got on straight away. (Make sure you buy the mount tiede experience and cable car tickets trip. As if you buy the cable car tickets when you get there. There a chance you won’t get any tickets ) Cable car is full and it’s takes 10 mins to get to the top. They recommend an hour max at the top and make sure you leave plenty of time to get back to get the coach as there a queue to return from the top of mount tiede. Views are amazing. We went in August we wore shorts and t shirts and packed a hoody incase it was cold. Sensible shoes aswell to walk the rocky path up at the top. Your guide Fonzy was really good. He spoke many languages and he was local and kept us entertained. I would definitely recommend this trip. Our kids loved it !

Guide was knowledgeable gave lots of information about the island and formation of the volcano during the coach trip. Stopped by the information centre but not enough time given to walk the routes and visit the information centre so missed that completely in favour of the walk. Cable car was closed due to the weather which was a disappointment but tickets part refunded. The exhibition by the cable car was rubbish one room with screens not worth paying extra for which luckily we didn't.
