Yas Island is currently home to four unique and exciting theme parks: Ferrari World™ Yas Island, Yas Waterworld Yas Island, Warner Bros. 1. Formula Rossa - Ferrari World™ Yas Island, Abu Dhabi
Fancy experiencing the thrill of sitting in the driver’s seat of a Formula 1 car? Formula Rossa is the closest us mere mortals can get to knowing what it’s like to be one of the world’s top drivers. Strap yourself in (and don’t forget your protective goggles!) as you're launched into the Arabian desert at a jaw-dropping speed of 240 km/h (140 mph). You’ll feel an incredible 4.3 Gs – that’s even more than an astronaut experiences at launch!
This is easily the most exhilarating ride on Yas Island – perhaps even the world. Formula Rossa holds the record for the fastest rollercoaster on the planet, and it’s no surprise it’s attracted some high-profile visitors. 2. Flying Aces - Ferrari World™ Yas Island, Abu Dhabi
If you’re a fan of coasters with inversions, Flying Aces is one you won’t want to miss. Climb aboard a vintage military biplane and prepare for a wild ride through the skies. This very symbol inspired Enzo Ferrari, founder of Scuderia Ferrari, to adopt it for his racing cars – eventually becoming the iconic Ferrari logo we know today.
