• How Far Apart are Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort?

  Walt Disney World Resort and Universal Orlando Resort are both located in Central Florida, around 9–15 miles apart depending on where you’re staying. Travelling between these two world-famous Orlando theme park resorts usually takes around 15–25 minutes by car, using Interstate 4 (I-4).

• How Do I Travel Between Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort?

  Getting between Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando:

  1. Car or rideshare (Uber/Lyft): The quickest and easiest option. The drive typically takes 20–30 minutes, costing around $20–30 each way.

  2. Taxi: Convenient and readily available across Orlando, with fares averaging $40–55, depending on distance and traffic.

  3. Public transport: The most affordable choice but also the slowest, usually taking around an hour or more with transfers along International Drive (I-Drive).

  4. Hotel shuttles: Both Disney Resort hotels and Universal Orlando Resort hotels offer free transport within their own properties, but there’s no direct complimentary shuttle between the two resorts.

  Because the resorts are so close, it’s easy to plan a split stay, a few nights at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel in Lake Buena Vista, followed by a stay at a Universal Orlando hotel near International Drive. It’s a great way to experience the best of both worlds during your Orlando holiday.

• What Is the Cancellation Policy for Orlando Combo Tickets?

  Our cancellation policy depends on  when you cancel and whether you purchased Flex-Plus. In most cases:

   

  Cancellation Time	Standard	Flex-Plus
  Any time before your departure date	20% fee	0% fee*
  After departure date	100% fee	100% fee

   

  * Flex-Plus can only be added at the time of booking. It removes time-based cancellation fees. If you cancel, you'll receive a refund based on the standard ticket price (minus the Flex-Plus supplement).

Ticket Information

• Can I Start Orlando ombo Tickets on Different Days?

  Yes, you can choose different start dates for tickets within an Orlando Combination Ticket package, such as starting Disney tickets on one day and Universal tickets later. While this option isn’t currently available online, we can arrange it over the phone.

  Please note: Disney and Universal tickets now require a start date and are valid for a fixed period from that date.

• Do I Need Park Reservations Once I’ve Bought a Combo Ticket?

  Good news, park reservations are no longer required for Walt Disney World or Universal Orlando Resort.

  However, during peak dates (like school holidays), parks can reach capacity, so we recommend arriving early to secure entry.

• Is Epic Universe included with a Disney & Universal Combo Ticket?

  Yes, you can! From 2026 onwards, all Universal Orlando tickets automatically include 14 days' admission to Epic Universe.

  If you have already purchased a Universal 3-Park Explorer Ticket for 2025, you can upgrade your ticket to include Epic Universe (subject to availability). Upgrade prices may vary based on the latest ticket rates.
