MOTIONGATE Dubai
MOTIONGATE Dubai is home to some of your favourite film franchises, from Shrek to Madagascar, so the holidays is the perfect time to see beloved characters all dressed up in their festive finest. Po, Shrek, King Julien, Drac and Elves appear in the fantastic merry parade that makes its way through the park. At various times throughout the day, festive theatre shows including Smurfmas and King Julien’s Holiday Stomp offer a seasonal twist to the usual entertainment offerings.
Both adults and kids alike will of course get to meet Santa Claus, and Mrs Claus had played her part too by baking a spread of all of Santa’s favourite treats, from cakes and cookies to pretzels and gingerbread men, which can be enjoyed as guests walk through the Festive Market.
LEGOLAND Dubai
Like other LEGOLAND locations across the world, the Festive Bricktacular has taken over at LEGOLAND Dubai! Returning for the second year in a row, there is a daily Christmas Countdown in MINILAND, featuring a giant, 4-metre-high advent calendar full of LEGO gifts worth over AED 40,000! Guests will have the chance to win a prize every single day up to December 25th.
On December 17th, guests will be treated to a magical one-off show by the LEGOLAND Dubai Christmas Choir in FACTORY Street, where they will perform some well-known favourite Christmas carols.
Riverland Dubai
When he’s not at MOTIONGATE, Santa will be paying a visit to Riverland Dubai. In this European wonderland, the streets will be filled with festive performances from carollers and buskers, festive street animations and photo opportunities. A fantastic parade will transform the park into a magnificently jolly destination, after which children can drop their letters to Santa in the special letterbox that will send their mail straight to the North Pole.
New Year’s Eve
It’s not just Christmas that gets all the attention at Dubai Parks and Resorts! On New Year’s Eve, all four theme parks will be lit up with a beautiful family-friendly fireworks display. The perfect way to bring in 2023!
