🐬 My Day at Discovery Cove I’ll be honest: I wasn’t sure if Discovery Cove would live up to the hype. Orlando already has so many attractions competing for attention. But the moment I walked in, I knew this wasn’t just another theme park — it felt like stepping into a private island resort. The dolphin swim was the highlight. I was nervous at first, but the trainers made it feel natural and safe. When the dolphin pulled me gently through the water, I couldn’t stop grinning — it’s one of those rare experiences that feels both magical and grounding at the same time. Snorkeling in the Grand Reef was another wow moment. I’ve snorkeled before, but never in a place where rays glide right past you and tropical fish surround you in every direction. It’s surreal, like swimming inside a living aquarium. Between adventures, I loved just wandering into the aviary and having birds land on my arm, or floating lazily in the warm river that winds through the park. The pace is slow, calm, and completely different from the chaos of Disney or Universal. And the food? Honestly better than I expected. It’s all‑inclusive, so I didn’t have to think about money once I was inside. I grabbed snacks whenever I wanted, and the main meal was hearty enough to keep me going. We also had a free unlimited drinks pass for cocktails, well worth looking for these offers when purchasing these tickets. Also free entry into seaworld in which was brilliant. Busch gardens and one other attraction that unfortunately we didnt get to due to time. 🌴 Final Thoughts Fantastic value for money Discovery Cove was worth very penny it’s one of those places where you feel the value in every moment. No crowds, no rushing, just a full day of animal encounters, relaxation, and little surprises that make you feel like you’ve stumbled into paradise. I highly recommend visiting and would definitely do this experience again but next time swim with the sharks.

We had a drinks package on our ticket, my wife attempted to obtain a cocktail, as the info indicated. To be told we did not have a drink package. The operative, was very rude and nasty towards my wife. We took steps to report his attitude, the park could not care. Their attitude was poor, the excuses were false and poor.

Discovery Cove is a fantastic place to visit. We met Lunar the dolphin. The trainers were very knowledgeable about the dolphins and their care. The park is clean and setting is lovely. A relaxing day. Being close to stingrays and exotic fish was a great experience. Breakfast and lunch is included with drinks and snacks included too. Then you get access to Seaworld and Busch gardens in Tampa with the bus free to travel. Would recommend this for a visit. Great value for money

We bought the discovery cove all inc drinks package which came with Busch gardens and seaworld and aquatics. It was such great value for money. Discovery cove was amazing it was so nice to have such a unique experience and it didn’t feel overcrowded or rushed. The staff on site, especially the animal trainers were all so lovely and clearly care about the animals and the environment we were all in. Great day out I will never forget.

I was more than happy with the value of my ticket which included sea world, aquatica and bush gardens it would have been a five if I hadn’t been charged for parking at seaworld which was also included in my package but the person at the booth said it wasn’t

Lovely day after the theme parks. Relaxing, not too overcrowded. Food and drink great, can have as much or as little as you want. The only downside is now you have to wear a life vest in the grand reef so unable to dive to look at the fish

Such an amazing day ! Got therefore 7am and. Had dolphin swim at 8am. Followed by eating as much as you like breakfast before enjoying all the water activities you can , being able to get a drink and a snack when you wanted was brilliant and then a great choice for lunch afterwards
