Picture this - a 24-metre Christmas tree twinkling in Town Square, snowflakes drifting down Main Street, U.S.A.®, and Mickey and friends waving from sparkling floats. Christmas at Disneyland® Paris is pure festive magic, and 2026 is shaping up to be one of the most exciting seasons yet!
For the very first time, the celebrations are heading to Arendelle, as World of Frozen at Disney Adventure World joins in the fun. Add a brand-new show starring Minnie Mouse and Mrs. Claus, Santa's cosy new home on Main Street, U.S.A.® and two New Year's Eve parties, and you've got plenty of reasons to pack your festive jumper.

When is Christmas at Disneyland® Paris in 2026?
Disney Enchanted Christmas runs from Saturday 7 November 2026 to Wednesday 6 January 2027. That gives you two whole months of festive magic, so you can get into the Christmas spirit early, celebrate on the big day itself or ring in 2027 with Mickey and friends!
Some festive experiences have their own dates. Santa Claus is here from the very first day of the season until 25 December, when he heads off on his big delivery round, and Mrs. Claus joins the fun from 14 November 2026.
Is Disneyland® Paris open on Christmas Day?
Yes! Disneyland® Paris is open every day of the year, and that includes Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. Spending Christmas morning with Mickey is a dream come true for lots of families, and it's a memory you'll treasure forever.
Do I need a special ticket for Christmas at Disneyland® Paris?
No special ticket needed! All the Disney Enchanted Christmas entertainment in Disneyland® Park and World of Frozen is included with your Disney Park ticket, including the festive celebrations on New Year's Eve.

10 reasons to visit Disneyland® Paris at Christmas
1. Celebrate the very first Christmas in World of Frozen
This is the big one for 2026! For the first time ever, Christmas is coming to the kingdom of Arendelle in World of Frozen at Disney Adventure World, and you could be among the very first to see it.
The village will be decked out with Nordic-inspired decorations and garlands, inspired by Scandinavian Christmas traditions, with a twinkling Christmas tree welcoming you at the entrance. Queen Anna, Queen Elsa and Olaf will be there to greet you, and Kristoff will be joining the celebrations for the very first time.
Here's what to look out for:
- The Arendelle Carolers - a heart-warming musical celebration of around 15 minutes at the foot of North Mountain, led by Olaf and a Christmas choir, before Anna and Elsa arrive to join in. Listen out for songs from Olaf's Frozen Adventure, such as "Ring in the Season" and "When We're Together", as snow falls over the village.
- Ring in the Season with Anna and Elsa - a joyful seven-minute celebration at Arendelle Bay, with the two queens in brand-new winter outfits. It takes place several times a day, including in the late afternoon.
- Festive friends - keep your eyes peeled for Oaken, Mossie and Kristoff around the village.
- Wintry treats - comforting dishes inspired by the flavours of the Far North.
- Arendelle Boutique - exclusive World of Frozen souvenirs and Scandinavian-inspired gifts.

2. Watch Mickey's Dazzling Christmas Parade!
One of the highlights of any Christmas visit is Mickey's Dazzling Christmas Parade!, and you'll want to save a spot in your schedule for this one.
Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy lead the way, followed by the Disney Princesses, Winnie the Pooh and friends, Chip 'n' Dale and lots more festive favourites, with Santa Claus himself bringing up the rear on his sleigh. Each float is lit up with thousands of twinkling lights, and the performers' sparkly costumes shimmer as they dance down Main Street, U.S.A.® to upbeat Christmas music.
The parade rolls through Disneyland® Park twice a day, including once in the late afternoon, so you can enjoy it in the daylight or as the lights begin to sparkle. It even won the prestigious IAAPA Brass Ring Award for "Most Creative Christmas/Holiday Show", so you know you're in for a treat!

3. Wander through a winter wonderland on Main Street, U.S.A.®
You'll feel like you've stepped straight into a Christmas card the moment you walk through the gates. The majestic 24-metre (78-foot) Christmas tree crowns Town Square, weighing 24 tonnes and dressed with 1,000 decorations. It lights up many times throughout the day and evening for a magical Christmas Tree Lighting moment.
Garlands stretch across Main Street, U.S.A.®, the shop windows are full of festive displays, and Christmas music fills the air as you stroll towards Sleeping Beauty Castle. All in all, the Disney Parks are decked out with 78 real Christmas trees, 7 km of garlands and more than 11,600 ornaments, so there's festive sparkle in every direction!
And while we can't promise real snow (although it's been known to happen!), faux snowflakes fall on Main Street, U.S.A.® several times a day, giving you all the wonder of a white Christmas.
Our tip: Stay on after dark. The castle, the tree and the twinkling lights look even more enchanting at night, and the evening ends with Disney Tales of Magic, a spectacular 22-minute nighttime show with projections that stretch from Sleeping Beauty Castle all the way down Main Street, U.S.A.®.
4. Share your Christmas wishes with Santa in his new home
Santa Claus has moved into a brand-new home for 2026, situated inside Disney Clothiers on Main Street, U.S.A.®. It's the perfect place for little ones to share their Christmas wishes and get any last-minute gift requests in before the big day!
Santa is at Disneyland® Paris every day from 7 November until he sets off on his deliveries on 25 December, so plan your visit before then if meeting him is high on your wish list.
Meetings with Santa are very popular, so you'll reserve a time in the official Disneyland® Paris app on the day of your visit. Book as early in the day as you can to get the time that suits you best.
5. Meet the Disney Characters in their festive finery
There's something so special about meeting some of your favourite Disney Characters when they're all dressed up for Christmas. Mickey, Minnie and friends, Stitch, the Disney Princesses and lots more friends put on their finest festive outfits for the season.
Here's who to look out for this Christmas:
- Stitch at Videopolis, ready to wish you the happiest of ho, ho, holidays
- Jack Skellington from Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas at Critter Corral
- Disney Princesses on Central Plaza
- Anna, Elsa, Olaf and Kristoff in World of Frozen
For some extra festive surprises, gather your loved ones in one of three spots in Disneyland® Park for special Character moments. Head to Town Square for Mickey and friends, Central Plaza for the Disney Princesses, or Castle Courtyard for some majestic cheer with Princess Aurora and Prince Phillip.

6. Sing along at the festive shows
If you love a good Christmas sing-song, you're in for a treat! There are two festive shows to enjoy in Disneyland® Park this year.
- Brand new for 2026: Minnie Mouse and Mrs. Claus at Castle Stage. Minnie and Mrs. Claus are teaming up in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle for an all-new musical celebration, packed with original Christmas songs. It runs from 14 November 2026.
- Let's Sing Christmas! at Videopolis Theatre. Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy and Clarabelle take to the stage several times a day for this much-loved festive show. Sing along to Christmas classics such as "Jingle Bells" and "Little Santa Claus", with the lyrics shown on screen, so there's no excuse not to join in!
Over in World of Frozen, The Arendelle Carolers and Ring in the Season with Anna and Elsa complete the festive line-up (see reason 1).
7. Warm up at the winter market with gourmet Christmas treats
Did you know Disneyland® Paris has its very own winter market? Les Chalets Gourmands bring the charm of a traditional European Christmas market right into the Disney Parks, with cosy wooden chalets serving up seasonal specialities.
You'll find them around La Place de Rémy and Rue de Paris in Disney Adventure World, along with five brand-new chalets on the new Adventure Way promenade, plus even more chalets dotted around Disneyland® Park.
Imagine warming hot chocolate, sweet crêpes, gingerbread, cheese pretzels and mulled wine for the grown-ups. It's the perfect way to warm your hands (and your heart) as you explore!
Restaurants across both Disney Parks and the Disney Hotels also serve festive dishes and comforting seasonal creations throughout the season. If you're dreaming of a magical Christmas feast, the Disney Hotels and selected restaurants in the Disney Parks serve special set menus on Christmas Eve, the night the French traditionally celebrate with a big festive meal. On Christmas Day itself, restaurants serve their usual menus, with plenty of seasonal treats to enjoy too.
Our tip: Christmas Eve tables are especially popular, so book your table as early as you can. You can reserve up to two months before your visit, and if you're staying at a Disney Hotel, you can book as soon as your stay is confirmed!
8. Get a head start on your Christmas shopping
Know someone who loves Disney? Well, who doesn't! The festively decorated boutiques across the resort are filled with Christmas decorations, festive fashion and magical gifts for everyone on your list.
Cuddly toys for little ones, cosy Christmas jumpers, sparkling Mickey ears and keepsakes for grown-ups: you'll be able to tick everyone off the nice list in no time. 10. Ring in the New Year in two Disney Parks
The festive fun keeps going right up to the stroke of midnight! On 31 December 2026, each Disney Park is hosting its very own New Year's Eve party, and the celebrations are included with your park ticket.
- Disney Adventure World - a brand-new evening of festive parties across the park's worlds, ending at midnight with a spectacular drone and fireworks show above World of Frozen, inspired by Frozen and the other worlds of the park.
- Disneyland® Park - DJ parties with the Disney Characters, followed by a special fireworks display above Sleeping Beauty Castle at midnight.

Planning your Christmas trip to Disneyland® Paris
When is the best time to visit Disneyland® Paris at Christmas?
There's no wrong time to visit during the festive season, as the decorations and entertainment are in place from the very first day. It all depends on what you'd like from your trip:
- Mid-November to early December - the full festive programme, with Santa, Mrs. Claus and the new Castle Stage show all in place from 14 November. Weekdays at this time of year are a lovely, relaxed time to visit and are often great value.
- The run-up to Christmas - the most magical, festive atmosphere of all, and your last chance to meet Santa before Christmas Day.
- Christmas week - spending Christmas Day at Disneyland® Paris is a once-in-a-lifetime treat for lots of families.
- New Year's Eve - two incredible parties and a midnight fireworks finale to welcome in 2027.
- Early January - the festive magic continues until 6 January 2027, perfect if you'd like to stretch out the holidays.
Disneyland® Paris prices vary by date, so booking early gives you the widest choice of dates and hotels.
How many days do you need at Disneyland® Paris at Christmas?
We'd recommend at least two days, so you can enjoy the Christmas celebrations in Disneyland® Park and World of Frozen in Disney Adventure World at a relaxed pace. Do the rides get a Christmas makeover?
The attractions at Disneyland® Paris don't change for Christmas, so all your favourite rides run as normal throughout the season. That means you get all the thrills you love, with festive magic all around you!
What's the weather like at Disneyland® Paris at Christmas?
Winter in Paris is chilly, with temperatures usually between around 2°C and 10°C, and a mix of crisp, bright days and rainy ones. Every now and then, there's even a sprinkle of real snow!
Most of the fun carries on whatever the weather. In heavy rain or strong winds, the parade may be adapted or rescheduled and the drones in the nighttime shows may not appear, so keep an eye on the official Disneyland® Paris app for the latest times. What to wear at Disneyland® Paris in winter
Layers are your best friend at Christmas! Here's what we'd pack:
- A warm, waterproof coat or a poncho to go over your layers
- Thermal layers and a cosy Christmas jumper (it is Christmas, after all!)
- A hat, scarf and gloves for the parade and evening shows
- Comfy, waterproof shoes or boots with a good grip
- Spare socks for rainy days
- A portable phone charger, as you'll be using the app a lot
Visiting with a sensory sensitivity or mobility needs
The festive season brings lots of extra music, lights and sparkle. If anyone in your group is sensitive to noise, ear defenders are a great idea for the parade and fireworks.
