What is Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party?
If you’re not familiar with Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, it’s an iconic Christmas celebration that takes place each year at Walt Disney World Resort. It’s an event that gives guests the chance to celebrate the festive season with Mickey and the gang as their festive hosts. There are spectacular stage shows, an elaborate parade and a dazzling firework display, plus the chance to meet classic Disney Characters dressed in their finest, festive attire.
Here are a few of the highlights guests can look forward to in 2026:
- Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade - Wave to your favourite Disney Characters as they glide along Main Street, U.S.A. on a procession of festive floats, complete with dancing gingerbread men and marching toy soldiers. Santa Claus himself brings up the rear!
- Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration - A joyous stage show on the Cinderella Castle Stage, led by Mickey and Minnie, filling the air with music, laughter and shimmering snowflakes.
- Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks - Hosted by Minnie Mouse, this dazzling nighttime spectacular pairs festive pyrotechnics with castle projections and beloved carols including Deck the Halls.
- Frozen Holiday Surprise - Join Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Kristoff and the Snowgies as Cinderella Castle transforms into a frozen wonderland.
- Club Tinsel - A holiday dance party at Tomorrowland's Rockettower Plaza Stage, with festive favourites like Santa Goofy and Chip 'n' Dale.
- Disney Junior Jingle Jam - A dance party for younger guests inside Cosmic Ray's Starlight Café, with Disney Junior friends including Fancy Nancy and Vampirina.
- Santa's Christmas Carnival - Storybook Circus transforms into a festive destination where little ones can meet Santa himself and take part in holiday crafts.
Party hours and ride access
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party starts at 7pm but your ticket will allow you entry to Magic Kingdom Park from 4pm, so you’ll have plenty of time to ride some of your favourite attractions. Several rides take on a festive twist for the occasion, including:
- Space Mountain - featuring high-energy holiday tunes and festive interior lighting
- Tomorrowland Speedway - reimagined as "Race Through the Holidays" with thousands of lights
- Mad Tea Party - spinning to special seasonal lighting effects
- Jungle Cruise - transformed into the pun-packed Jingle Cruise for the season
- Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor - putting some "ha ha ha" in their "ho ho ho" with a seasonal show
Classic favourites are also on hand throughout the evening, including Haunted Mansion, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Pirates of the Caribbean, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, Tiana's Bayou Adventure and TRON Lightcycle / Run.

Holiday cookies and hot chocolate are handed out by Cast Members throughout the party at no extra cost, and every ticket includes a commemorative ornament keepsake to bring the magic home.
