Exciting times – you’re planning a trip to Disneyland® Paris! There’s a lot to think about, from how to get there to where to stay plus buying your Theme Park Tickets. And that’s before you’ve started to think about everything else.
Luckily for you, you don’t have to worry about the detail, as we’ve put together this article with everything you need to know about any extras that you’ll need for your Disneyland® Paris holiday. Once you’ve read this, you’ll be ready to go!
Do I need a Park Hopper Ticket?
First and most important thing first – your Theme Park Tickets. After all, that’s why you’re going to Disneyland® Paris in the first place! There are several options available depending on how long you’re visiting for, as each Ticket covers a specific period of time.
Once you’ve sorted dates, your next choice is whether to go for a Ticket with Park Hopper access or a one-park Ticket. Park Hopper means that you can move freely between the two Disney® Parks – Disneyland® Park and Walt Disney Studios® Park (to be renamed Disney Adventure World) – without restrictions.
As experts when it comes to all things Disney, we recommend buying Tickets with Park Hopper access, as the two Disney® Parks are really close to each other and are easy to get between. Having a Park Hopper Ticket for Disneyland® Paris means that you can tick off your to-do list at each Park before hopping back to ride your favourite attractions again.
You could also pop in for a meal in one of the Disney® Parks, if there’s a restaurant there you’d like to visit, before heading back to the other. It’s the option with the most flexibility, and it provides excellent value for money.
Options for Park Hopper Tickets on AttractionTickets.com include:
- Disneyland® Paris 2 Day/2 Parks Dated Hopper Ticket
- Disneyland® Paris 1-Day/2 Parks Dated Hopper Ticket
- Disneyland® Paris 3 Day/2 Parks Dated Hopper Ticket
- Disneyland® Paris 4 Day/2 Parks Dated Hopper Ticket
- Disneyland® Paris 1-Day Open-Dated Ticket
- 1 Day/2 Park Disneyland® Paris with transport
Disney Premier Access
Another thing to consider during your trip is Disney Premier Access,. This pass allows you to bypass the regular queue at selected attractions and join the Premier Access queue so you get to the attractions more quickly.
There are two versions of Disney Premier Access available:
Disney Premier Ultimate | Disney Premier Access One |
For one-time use on all eligible attractions | For one-time use on a single attraction |
No allocated time slot | Allocated time slot |
Buy in advance from AttractionTickets.com or on the day in the Disney Parks | Buy on the day in the Disney Parks |
Disney Premier Access is of great value if you have limited time in the Disney Parks and want to ensure that you get to experience all the attractions or if you have a favourite attraction and want to guarantee that you’ll get to experience it.
How much is Disney Premier Access?
The price of Disney Premier Access can vary depending on when you visit Disneyland® Paris. Prices for Disney Premier Access Ultimate start from as low as £75 per person* during off-peak times.
You will need to buy separate Disney Premier Access for everyone who wants to skip the regular queue. You don’t need to buy one for every person in your party if there are some that don’t want it. Children under three don’t need Disney Premier Access, but they can join the smaller queue with an adult who has it.

From breakfast with everyone’s favourite mouse, Mickey, to enjoying a leisurely lunch with the Disney Princesses, there are plenty of options.

- Plaza Gardens Restaurant
- Auberge de Cendrillon

Should I rent a car for my trip to Disneyland® Paris?
There are several options for you to get to Disneyland® Paris:
- Eurostar
- Drive your own car via the Channel Tunnel or ferry
- Fly into Paris
Taking the Eurostar from London St Pancras International Station is a fantastic option as it gets you right to the resort. You can book travel by Eurostar as part of a package alongside your hotel and theme park tickets at AttractionTickets.com.
We wouldn’t necessarily recommend hiring a car during your trip unless you plan to drive elsewhere afterwards. Most of the Disney® Hotels, the two Disney® Parks, and Disney Village® are all within walking distance of each other, so you won’t need to drive between them or pay for parking. If you choose to stay in a Disneyland® Paris Area Hotel instead, then a lot of these operate a shuttle service between the hotels and the theme parks.
If you do decide to drive, parking fees are in place at Disneyland® Paris, unless you are staying at one of the Disney® Hotels.
