After the incredible reviews following the opening of SUPER NINTENDO WORLD™ at Universal Studios Japan in 2021, it has now been announced that this innovative and immersive land will be debuting in the United States in 2023!
That’s right; from next year guests of Universal Studios Hollywood will be transported to the world of Super Mario, where fan favourite characters including Luigi, Princess Peach, Yoshi and more will be waiting to welcome you into their universe.
In their recent press release, Universal described SUPER NINTENDO WORLD as “a visual spectacle of vibrant colours and architectural ingenuity located within a newly expanded area of the theme park, featuring a groundbreaking ride and interactive areas, to be enjoyed by the whole family.” There will also be new themed dining locations and plenty of exclusive merchandise to complete the experience.
While we don’t know exactly when this new land will be opening, we do know that guests visiting in 2022 won’t have to miss out on all of the excitement! The Feature Presentation store will soon be transformed into a SUPER NINTENDO WORLD themed merchandise location, where apparel, plushes and those iconic Mario and Luigi character hats will be on sale.
