Planning a Family Day out at Sea Life Brighton

Inspiration

So the kids love sea creatures and you’re in Brighton… why not plan a visit to Sea Life Brighton at the Brighton Aquarium?

Here at 365Tickets we can provide great discounted Sea Life Brighton tickets at the best prices for your family!

Where is Sea Life Brighton Aquarium?

The Brighton Aquarium is located next to the seafront, beside Brighton Pier, but Brighton Sea Life Centre parking is limited and can be expensive. We recommend you travel to Brighton by train or, of course, stay in one of Brighton’s hotels.

What are the Brighton Sea Life centre opening times?

The aquarium is open daily from 10am with last admissions at 3pm – with the exception of the October/ November half term week when admissions continuing until 4pm. You can even come and go as often as you like on the day of your visit.

Take note of the various feeding times, during which you can discover what different creatures eat and how they are fed. These start at 11am, ad there are multiple throughout the day. Times are subject to change so check on entry if you have a favourite you don’t want to miss.

However, Sea Life Brighton is closed on Christmas Day so the staff can enjoy their visit from Santa!

So, you’ve got your Sea Life Brighton tickets, but what is there to see and do at the aquarium?

Along with feeding shows, there are two new attractions for 2019. Take a trip in the Glass Bottom Boat whilst listening to the guide explain the creatures you will see. Another new addition is the Day and Night Experience where you can see how the ocean changes from day to night.

Why not also take a 20 minute behind-the-scenes tour for an additional cost and learn how they breed, feed and look after the creatures in the Aquarium.

What facilities are there?

For little ones there are baby changing facilities in both the male and female toilets as well as two additional baby changing facilities in the foyer of the toilets.

There is also a buggy park opposite the toilets for those not wishing to take their buggies into the aquarium. The aquarium however is buggy and wheelchair friendly though, with the exception of the auditorium.

Should you need to refuel there is also a coffee shop located opposite the ray pool where you can buy snacks and refreshments. The coffee shop closes at the same time as the last admission that day.

You can also exit the aquarium to eat your own food or find food elsewhere and return later, whenever you wish.

To remember your visit, why not have your photo taken? These can be printed and also made into mementos.  Alternatively, you can visit the gift shop to purchase Sea Life merchandise.
