LEGOLAND Florida Resort just became even more accessible!
This is the first full theme park resort to receive this certification, including all three parks and hotels.

The International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES) has designated LEGOLAND Florida Resort as a Certified Autism Centre (CAC), making it the first theme park resort to get this accreditation! This includes LEGOLAND Theme Park, LEGOLAND Water Park, Peppa Pig Theme Park, and all three onsite hotels.

But what does this mean for you as a guest?

This means that all front-line team members have been given specific training to help assist guests with autism and other sensory sensitivities. Sensory guides will also be available for every attraction, so guests know how they may be affected, and low sensory areas have been created to provide a less stimulating environment.

The training provided by IBCCES includes guidance from both industry professionals and autistic individuals to make sure every aspect of your holiday can be as accessible as possible. The certification will also be reviewed and renewed periodically to ensure standards stay up to date with the latest guidance.

LEGOLAND Florida is also currently celebrating 90 Years of Play to mark the 90th anniversary of the LEGO Group, making this year the perfect time to visit. Throughout the summer, guests can take part in an exclusive ‘Play Your Way’ experience as they discover different building challenges across the park to discover what kind of builders they are.
