Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas, Kidani Village is an African lodge-style resort boasting accommodation which offers self-catering facilities such as kitchenettes/kitchens. The Kidani Villas are located at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. Featuring over 30 species of wildlife that roam free amidst a 21-acre wildlife preserve that includes lush, tropical savannas, Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village offers you the unique opportunity to observe exotic animals in their natural habitat from special viewing areas throughout the Resort – and from the balconies of select Guest rooms.

Magic Touches

The lobby and the Villas of Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village extend out and take the curlicue shape of a water buffalo's horns. This string of buildings can also be viewed as a piece of native African jewellery, a 'necklace' with Villas forming the beads, garden-like walkways creating the "knots" in between and the main lobby building as the ornament or jewel at its centre.

Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge - Kidani Villas gives guests the opportunity to try authentic African cuisine, with dishes like grilled seafood and roasted meats inspired by the flavours of over 50 African countries. There’s also American classics like burgers and pizza.

Disney Resort Hotel, use Extra Magic Hours

If you’re staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, use Extra Magic Hours – these give you the opportunity to escape the crowds and visit the parks outside of regular opening hours at no extra charge.

From May 2026 through January 2027, Guest rooms at the nearby Jambo House at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge will undergo refurbishment. Most amenities will remain available throughout the refurbishment.

Beginning Aug. 17, the lobby and nearby areas at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Kidani Village will undergo refurbishment in phases. The work is expected to be completed in early Nov. Closures will take place in phases:

• Aug. 17–Oct. 9: The main lobby and primary entrance will be closed. During this time, check-in will move to the Palace Library.

• Aug. 17–late September: Johari Treasures will be closed.

• Sept. 28–Oct. 9: The north side lobby corridor will be closed. During this time, the north side lobby elevators on the second floor and the outdoor terrace observation deck will be unavailable.

• Oct. 26–Nov. 6: The south side lobby corridor will be closed. During this time, Community Hall, Safari So Good Arcade, the laundry room, the Palace Library, lobby restrooms and outdoor terrace observation deck will be unavailable.

Guests may see or hear construction activity in the lobby area during daytime hours, including periods of more noticeable noise, until the work is complete.

Sanaa

Sanaa is a unique, themed restaurant where you can experience the art of African cooking with Indian flavours, you may also catch a glimpse of gazelles, giraffes & Zebra as the beautiful exotic animals roam the Sunset Savanna. Kids menus are available for those wanting the more familiar choices like Pizza, healthy options are also available.
Reservations are highly recommended and came be made 180 days prior to your stay.
Guests must be 21 years or over to order alcoholic beverages.
Sanaa Lounge

Savor unique African wines and specialty drinks at this inviting lounge inspired by the spice markets of Africa. Snack on an Indian-influenced appetizer with your cocktail, and then venture outside to see exotic animals roam the savanna.
Maji Pool Bar

Swahili for “water,” Maji also offers other liquids you can imbibe—including cocktails, wine and draft beer for Guests 21 years of age and older—along with sandwiches, salads and select snacks.
Jiko - The Cooking Place

This restaurant serves traditional African cuisine along with South African wines, and is open for dinner only. Jiko’s specialty is creative American cooking with a blend of multicultural influences from the Mediterranean coast, India, and Europe including seafood, steak, chicken, vegan and vegetarian offerings infused with a blend of mouth watering fragrant spices.

Cape Town Lounge and Wine Bar

Sample South African wines at this intimate watering hole near Jiko – The Cooking Place. Enjoy an appetizer and wine pairing prior to your meal at Jiko. A full bar is also available.
Boma - Flavours of Africa

Designed to replicate an African marketplace; Boma offers buffet-style breakfasts and dinners. Open kitchens that feature a wood-burning grill allow guests to watch the culinary team prepare great food that includes vegetarian dishes, fresh salads, grilled seafood, and roasted meats inspired by the varied flavours of over 50 African countries.

Mara

Located inside of Jambo House, Mara is a savanna themed, quick service restaurant, that serves an array of mouth watering meals including African stews, half-chicken dinners, pitas and more. Traditional American favourites like burgers and flatbreads are also available. Breakfast is available until 11am.
Victoria Falls Lounge

A quiet spot overlooking Boma - Flavours of Africa, this lounge is a great spot to relax. Why not sample some seasonal cheeses along with one of the vintage South African wines the lounge has to offer. Cocktails, International beers, African breads & dips are also available.
Uzima Springs

Unwind poolside at Uzima Springs Pool Bar where you can enjoy a selection of tasty sandwiches and a variety of cold beverages including frozen specialty drinks. Salads and other light snacks are also available.

Magic is the right word. Whether you are 2, 10, 20, or (as in our case 80) there is something for everyone. The rides vary from kiddy to adult scary Food and drink is very expensive so you are much better to take your own in, vegetarian there is nothing really The evening light parade was beyond magnificent, stunning is a better description Areas can get very busy but there is always somewhere to relax a while. Staff, or cast members as they are called, are always so lovely and helpful whenever you are there Open your mind to what the park is all about and you too will have a magical experience

Love this park. More adult orientated although there is still plenty going on for all ages, including the rides The ‘countries’ are all worth going in, as they offer so much information, goods and (some) rides The Epcot ‘ ball’ ride has been there for many years and sadly, not been updated at all. Ok if you haven’t been on it before but otherwise don’t bother. Ideal for all ages though. Queues can be horrendous…as at all the parks Again, food and drink outrageously priced, take your own is the better idea Apparently the English ‘chippy’ sells a version of ours here, pretty close that’s all.

Free parking!! Love this place. We go for opening to ensure we get a bed in the shade. Free towels which is handy and you can order food on the app for collection. Take passports as well as driving licence for those looking younger than 40!
