Discover Florence’s top highlights in just a few hours on this small-group walking tour. Begin with skip-the-line entry to the Accademia Gallery to admire Michelangelo’s David, led by an expert art historian who brings the masterpiece—and its story—to life.
Next, head to the stunning Florence Cathedral (Duomo), where you’ll learn how Brunelleschi’s revolutionary dome reshaped architecture forever. Depending on your selected time, your tour will then take one of two exciting routes:
- 8:30am or 3:30pm: Enjoy exclusive access to the Duomo’s North Terrace, normally closed to the public, followed by a climb to the top of the Dome for breathtaking views over Florence.
- 9:00am or 2:15pm: Take a guided walk through Florence’s most beautiful streets and piazzas. Visit Piazza della Signoria, see the Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Vecchio, Piazza della Repubblica, and hear tales of the Medici family. Don’t forget to rub Il Porcellino’s nose for good luck!

- This tour is in English.
- This tour is wheelchair accessible but must be notified at the time of booking for proper arrangements.
- We are unable to accommodate guests with strollers on this tour.
- We ask all guests (including children) to bring ID on the day of their tour.
- This is a walking tour. Guests should be able to walk at a moderate pace without difficulty.
- All guests must pass through security. No weapons or large items are allowed inside.
- Only small handbags are allowed inside the Accademia Museum. There is no bag check or storage available.
- Shoes with heels and flip-flops are prohibited inside the Cathedral.
- Due to the religious nature of the Cathedral, all individuals, regardless of gender, must cover their shoulders and knees. Walks cannot be held responsible for those denied entry.
- On Sundays, the Cathedral of Florence is inaccessible due to Sunday mass. The guide will provide an explanation of the Duomo from the outside.
- During the Christmas and Easter periods, due to increased visitor traffic, the Duomo skip-the-line option is not guaranteed. As a result, you may encounter a wait before entering the Duomo.
