Since it opened, Universal Express Passes options have grown and changed quite a bit, so we thought it was time for a friendly refresher on how it all works, what's new, and what to check before you book.
With a Universal Express Pass (in addition to your valid park admission), you'll get access to a dedicated Express queue at participating attractions across Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure, and Universal Epic Universe, including firm favourites in Celestial Park, How to Train Your Dragon - Isle of Berk, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD™, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ - Ministry of Magic™, and Dark Universe.

Universal Express Pass Options at a Glance
There's a fair bit of choice these days, and it's worth getting your head around the differences before you buy, especially for Epic Universe, where things work a little differently to the other two parks. Here's the full line-up:

Is the Epic Universe Express Pass Unlimited?
Here's the one thing we really want you to know before you book: Epic Universe Express Pass is single-use only. Unlike Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure, there's currently no Express Unlimited option for Epic Universe, so each pass covers one ride per participating attraction, per day.
Fancy going back for a second lap of your new favourite ride? You'll need Universal Express Pass Now (more on that below) to add extra single-ride Express access.
Do Signature Hotels Include Express Pass for Epic Universe?
Good news if you're staying at one of Universal's Signature hotels - Hard Rock Hotel®, Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, or Loews Royal Pacific Resort: your stay includes complimentary Express Unlimited for everyone in your room at Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure.
The catch? This perk doesn't currently stretch to Universal Epic Universe, and that includes guests staying at the newer Universal Helios Grand Hotel too. So if Epic Universe is on your itinerary, it's worth budgeting for Express Pass there separately, whichever Universal hotel you've booked.
What Is Universal Express Pass Now?
One of the most useful additions since our last update is Universal Express Pass Now - a handy, on-the-day option that lets you buy one-time Express access to a single attraction via the Universal Orlando Resort App while you're already in the park.
It pops up across Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure, and Universal Epic Universe, with availability released periodically depending on capacity. Perfect if you only want to skip the line for one or two must-do rides rather than committing to a full Express Pass for the whole day.
Keep in mind Universal Express Pass Now can only be bought in-park, on the day, via the app - you won't be able to add it before you travel.
