A complete guide to every Disneyland® Paris Hotel benefit, from Extra Magic Time to private lounges.
Extra Magic Time, park tickets, character meets, meal plans, and more - here's everything official Disney Hotel guests actually get, including the premium perks most guides leave out.

Choosing where to stay is one of the most important decisions when planning a Disneyland® Paris trip, and booking an official Disney Hotel isn’t just about a bed for the night! It unlocks a whole package of perks that day visitors simply don’t get.

Here’s everything official Disney Hotel guests get, explained properly.

What benefits do Disney Hotel guests get at Disneyland® Paris?

Official Disney Hotel guests receive:

  • Extra Magic Time (exclusive early park entry every day of your stay)
  • Park tickets included for the full duration of your trip
  • Free shuttle buses to and from the parks
  • The Disney Express luggage service
  • Exclusive meal plans
  • In-hotel Disney Character encounters
  • Themed leisure facilities
  • Free parking
  • Shopping delivery service
  • Everything managed through one contactless card - the MagicPass

If you’re thinking about staying in Club Level rooms or Signature Suites at select hotels, you also unlock premium perks like private lounges and dedicated check-in. We’ll cover those later!

1. Extra Magic Time - an hour in the parks before anyone else

Extra Magic Time gives Disney Hotel guests exclusive access to both Disneyland® Park and Disney Adventure World a full hour before the parks open to the general public. It applies to every single day of your stay, including your arrival and departure days.

The standard early access window is usually 8:30AM to 9:30AM, though these hours can vary seasonally and are normally confirmed in the official Disneyland® Paris app up to 3 months in advance.

How to make the most of Extra Magic time

  • Aim to arrive at the park security gates by around 8:00AM to give yourself the full hour without rushing. Use your MagicPass card at the dedicated early-entry turnstiles, or scan digitally via the Disneyland® Paris app.
  • At Disneyland® Park, you’ll want to head to any of the following first: Big Thunder Mountain, Star Wars™: Hyperspace Mountain, Peter Pan’s Flight or Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast.
  • At Disney Adventure World, take this opportunity to head to Frozen Ever After, Crush’s Coaster®, Spider-Man W.E.B. Adventure or Raiponce Tangled Spin.

Character greeting locations open during this early hour too, with much shorter waits. It’s also the best time to get photos in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle without the crowds!

2. Park tickets included for every day of your stay

Every official Disney Hotel package includes Park Hopper tickets covering every day of your stay, with arrival and departure days included. A 2-night stay gives you 3 fulls days of park access, which means you can move freely between Disneyland® Park and Disney Adventure World as many times as you like each day.

At AttractionTickets.com, you can secure your Disneyland® Paris hotel and ticket package with a deposit of just £25 per room, spreading the remaining cost into flexible instalments.

Your tickets are loaded onto your MagicPass at hotel check-in. Alternatively, we’ll provide you with an 8-digit Disney reference number by email that you can link into the Disneyland® Paris app to go fully digital.

3. You’re right next to the parks

All official Disney Hotels sit within easy reach of the park entrances, connected by dedicated pedestrian paths. You won’t need trains, taxis or paid transfers!

Free shuttle buses

If you’d rather not walk (or you’re travelling with tired little ones), free shuttle buses run roughly every 12-20 minutes between 6:30AM and 11:45PM (until 1:00AM during summer), stopping at all hotels except Davy Crockett Ranch and the Disneyland® Hotel. They’ll drop you at the Marne-la-Vallee-Chessy hub right next to the park entrances.

Being this close to the parks is a much bigger deal than it sounds! You can head back mid-afternoon for a rest, a swim, or a change of clothes, then return for the evening fireworks. You’ll also bypass the main visitor car park completely, saving 15-20 minutes of walking each way.

4. Disney Express luggage service - arrive by train and go straight to the parks

Travelling by Eurostar or train? The Disney Express luggage service means you can head straight into the parks without lugging your bags to the hotel first.

Head to the Disney Express counter on the first floor of Marne-la-Vallee-Chessy station (open daily 7:45AM to 9:00PM). Staff will complete your hotel pre-check-in at the counter, handing over your MagicPasses, tickets, meal vouchers and any pre-booked extras. Your suitcases are then delivered directly to your hotel while you get to enjoy your first day in the parks!

On your last morning, drop your bags at the hotel luggage desks before 11:00AM. Spend your final day in the parks without worrying about check-out, then collect your luggage from the Disney Express station counter before boarding your train home.

Important: Disney Express is a paid add-on, not automatically included in your hotel package. It’s also not available at Disney Davy Crockett Ranch (which requires a car).

5. Exclusive Meal Plans, plus a booking advantage that’s easy to overlook

Disneyland® Paris Meal Plans are available exclusively to official Disney Hotel guests. They let you fix your food budget in advance and include dining credits loaded directly onto your MagicPass at check-in. There are four tiers:

The booking advantage most people don’t know about:

For popular character dining experiences and heavily themed restaurants, this makes a real difference, especially during peak periods.

6. In-hotel character encounters

Character meets inside the parks can mean 45-90 minute queues for the most popular Disney Characters. Hotel meets are a completely different experience - limited to hotel guests only, with typical waits of around 10-20 minutes, in calm indoor spaces before or after a busy day.

During seasonal events, like Disney Halloween Festival and Disney Enchanted Christmas, characters also appear in festive outfits!

7. Themed hotels - the magic carries through to your room

Every Disney Hotel is a destination in its own right. The detail in these hotels goes well beyond a lick of themed paint - architecture, background music, cast member uniforms, and even custom fragrances in the lobbies are all part of it.

  • Disneyland® Hotel - A 5-star royal palace celebrating classic Disney royalty. Rooms take their cues from Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Tangled and Frozen, with interactive illuminated mirrors and exclusive princess suite options.
  • Disney Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel - The world’s first Marvel-themed hotel, designed like a Manhattan art gallery. It houses over 350 original pieces of Marvel artwork, with a New York skyline aesthetic throughout.
  • Disney Newport Bay Club - A grand 1920s New England coastal mansion on Lake Disney, full of maritime detail and subtle nods to Sailor Mickey. A lovely spot if you want something a bit more sophisticated.
  • Disney Sequoia Lodge - A rustic Bambi-themed national park lodge surrounded by real sequoia trees, with a massive stone fireplace in the lounge and a cosy, outdoorsy feel.
  • Disney Hotel Cheyenne - A literal frontier town layout, with saloon facades, bunk beds, and Toy Story theming. Brilliant for the little ones!
  • Disney Hotel Santa Fe - A Route 66 desert road trip in hotel form, with neon lights, desert landscaping, and Pixar’s Cars theming throughout.

Every hotel room also broadcasts dedicated Disney TV channels, including park orientation guides and bedtime stories.

8. Pools, spas and leisure facilities

9. Free parking at the parks

Standard day-visitor parking at Disneyland® Paris costs around €30 per day for a standard car. Disney Hotel guests park free at both their hotel and the main Disney® Parks car park for the full duration of their stay.

To use it, simply show your physical MagicPass or digital check-in confirmation at the toll booth when you arrive. If you’re staying at Disney Davy Crockett Ranch, which requires your own personal car or hire car, this saving adds up quickly over a multi-day trip!

10. Free in-park shopping delivery

The Disney Shopping Service lets you buy souvenirs in the parks without carrying bags around all day. Any purchase made at a Disney® Park or Disney Village boutique before 2:30PM can be delivered to your hotel’s gift shop, free of charge!

Just tell the cast member at the checkout you’re a Disney Hotel guest, fill out a quick delivery slip, and collect your items from your hotel boutique from 8:00PM that evening.

One thing to note is that there is a minimum spend of €50 per transaction, though if you pay with a qualifying premium Visa card (Gold, Platinum, Infinite or Premier), that minimum is waived entirely as part of Visa’s Official Partnership with the resort.

Heading home early on your last day? If you’re leaving before 8:00PM, use the Disney Style shop in Disney Village as your collection point instead. Items are available from 6:00PM, and it’s right next to the station.

11. The MagicPass - one card for everything

Every member of your group (except children under 3) gets their own personalised MagicPass at hotel check-in. It’s an all-in-one contactless RFID card that works as your room key, park admission ticket, Extra Magic Time pass, meal plan card and pre-booked extras record.

It’s fully waterproof, so it’s safe on water rides and in the hotel pool. If it’s lost inside the parks, free replacements are issued on the spot at City Hall in Disneyland® Park or Studio Services in Disney Adventure World.

Prefer to go digital? Link your AttractionTickets.com booking reference to the Disneyland® Paris app to use your MagicPass on your phone.

Is there a Disney Hotel for every budget?

Premium perks - Club Level and Signature Suites

If you’re looking to enhance your holiday even further, consider staying in Club Level rooms or Signature Suites at select premium hotels, which unlock an additional set of benefits:

Private lounges

Four hotels have exclusive private lounges for Club Level guests, each with its own character:

  • Castle Club Lounge (Disneyland® Hotel) - Overlooks Sleeping Beauty Castle, with fireworks viewable from the lounge windows. Disney Characters visit guests at breakfast.
  • Empire State Club (Disney Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel) - A sleek, quiet space surrounded by premium Marvel artwork, with table service at afternoon tea.
  • Compass Club Lounge (Disney Newport Bay Club) - A sophisticated maritime-themed space, great for unwinding after a long park day.
  • Golden Forest Club (Disney Sequoia Lodge) - Cosy woodland retreat with an open fire - a lovely spot in cooler months.

All four lounges include private buffet breakfast, afternoon tea and sweet treats (around 4:00 - 5:30PM daily), complimentary hot and soft drinks from noon to 10:00PM, and a dedicated concierge who can book dining and sort ticket queries on the spot!

Private check-in

Club Level guests bypass the main hotel lobby and check in at a dedicated quiet desk, often with welcome refreshments. Your luggage is taken straight to your room, and MagicPasses are activated immediately so you can head to the parks without waiting!
