    General Policies

    • Age Requirements: Bookings must contain at least one person who is 21 or older.
    • Check-in Requirments: A major credit card and photo I.D. is required upon check-in to cover incidental charges. Check-in is at 4.00pm and check-out is at 11.00am.
    • Smoking Policy: All Universal resort hotels are 100% smoke-free. The non-smoking policy applies to all hotel areas, except for designated outdoor smoking areas. The cleaning fee for smoking in guest rooms is $250.

      When you stay at Aventura you are literally in Universal! You can use the walking paths or take a short shuttle ride and be at the parks or Universal CityWalk in minutes. A dedicated walking path from Aventura takes you straight to Universal’s Volcano Bay. Plus you are well placed for everything else Orlando has to offer too. International Drive, SeaWorld, Discovery Cove and Aquatica are a short 10-minute drive away. Orlando International Airport and Walt Disney World are only a 20-minute drive from the hotel.

      Parking in the Universal Orlando car park costs $27 per day, or you can pay extra to upgrade to Prime Parking or Valet. But if you arrive after 6pm, you can park for free (on non-Halloween Horror Nights event nights).

    • How to get from Aventura Hotel to Universal?

      There is a bus that picks you up at regular intervals right outside of the hotel and deposits guests near the security checkpoint for CityWalk. Alternatively, the walking path from Aventura Hotel will take 15-20 minutes to Islands of Adventure with Universal Studios just a few minutes further.

      Guests can also walk to Loews Sapphire Falls Resort to catch the water taxi to Universal CityWalk.

    • We had a fantastic time exploring Island of adventure and was able to travel between the two parks via hogwarts express through the 3 park explorer ticket as part of our universal package booked through Attraction Tickets. If anything we wished we had booked a longer stay to explore the parks more, but we did most things. We did get very wet on Popeye's water rapid ride, wetter than any other rapids. Clothes dried quickly in the heat, but next time will remove trainers and put in the waterproof storage next time. We had to purchase flip flops for the kids, who refused carry on wearing wet trainers. So handy spare essentials in the shops.

    • Loved the theming and some very crazy rides like the Simpsons. We met lots of amazing characters and I loved the classic ET ride. Wizarding world of Harry potter was magical, very interactive and my daughter loved being asked at Olivanders to help him clean up the mess after the persons wand selection. Made her feel very special.

    • We had a great day at the water park. The only thing was my son - not quite a teenager and not brave enough to go on the big slides, but quite a child was too tall for the slides in the kids area, that would have been perfect for him. So we stuck to the lazy river and the more rapid river and the wave pool. We still manage to enjoy our time.

    • Unfortunately, the day we went it we didn’t manage to stay long or see everything, due to a sudden thunderstorm. But from what we could tell, it looked fabulous!

    • This park was great and wait times were very low we had been on everything by lunch time. My only wish for this park in the Florida heat would be for a water ride to help cool off. You have to queue to meet donkey in this park in the new DreamWorks area it was a hilarious experience.

    • We didn't get long in this park as our day was cut short due to a storm however we got to enjoy the crazy river before we left which made a fun change from a lazy river.

    • Great park, we divided and conquered at this park but wait times were super low the only one we had to queue for was Hagrids Motorbike coaster and that was definitely worth the wait and so much better than I expected.
