Experience the ultimate culinary adventure with The Q Train on the picturesque Bellarine Peninsula, starting from Melbourne via Port Phillip Ferries. Begin your journey by arriving at Dockland Ferry Terminal in Melbourne, making sure you are there 20 minutes before your scheduled departure time. Enjoy a relaxing 70-minute ferry ride from Melbourne to Portarlington, where Explore Australia coaches will be waiting to transport you to Drysdale Railway Station.

Upon arrival at Drysdale Railway Station, you’ll be warmly greeted and offered a complimentary drink. Settle into your table on The Q Train and shortly after departure, your first course will be served. As the train travels through picturesque landscapes, including farmland, Australian bush, and the scenic Swan Bay, you will savor multiple courses. The journey includes a 15-minute stop at Queenscliff, where you can stretch your legs before returning to your seat for the final courses as the train heads back to Drysdale Railway Station.

After a three-hour dining journey, Explore Australia coaches will take you back to Portarlington Ferry Terminal. Relax and enjoy the 70-minute ferry ride back to Melbourne. The Q Train's First Class dining offers a social dining adventure on one of Australia's most unique restaurants, with scenic views of beautiful landscapes, including farmland and Swan Bay. The experience is made even more enjoyable with seamless transfers from ferry to coach to train.

  • This experience is designed for adults and children aged 12 and over. Please note, we are unable to accommodate children aged 0-5. We do not offer children’s fares or menus.
  • Departure point - at 131 Harbour Esplanade, Victoria Harbour, Docklands, Melbourne CBD.
  • Alcohol and Drinks are NOT included on both the ferry or train. They can be purchased on board. 
  • In the unlikely event that The Q Train is late to return and we miss the return ferry, Explore Australia will return you to Docklands via bus.
  • Please arrive to the ferry terminal 30 minutes prior to your departure time. Failure to arrive before this time will result in forfeiture of booking and no refund will be given. 
  • Dress code is Smart Casual. Thongs, active wear, and singlets are not permitted. Failure to adhere to dress code may result in forfeiture of booking and no refund will be given.
  • Advance notice is required for dietary requirements. Dietary requests cannot be accommodated without prior arrangement.
  • Strictly no BYO food or drink.
  • *Cancellation Policy: Free cancellations for bookings cancelled with the operator before 24 hours of your chosen activity date. No refund if bookings cancelled 24 hours or less prior to travel or in the event of a no-show.
