Our guide to Schindler's Factory Private Guided Tour

The former Oskar Schindler’s Enamel Factory nowadays houses a permanent exhibition entitled 'Kraków under Nazi Occupation 1939-1945', which is one of the most interesting and important exhibitions to visit when in Krakow.

Visiting the Factory begins with meeting your guide in front of the main gate of the Museum. The guide will take you without the queue to the place where the "Cracow under Nazi Occupation" exhibition begins, located on 3 levels of the factory. The exhibition is arranged chronologically and begins with a presentation of life in Krakow before the outbreak of World War II. Then the guide across the various exhibition rooms will tell you how the terror of war was increasing and how the situation of individual people was affected by the presence of the Nazis in Krakow.

During the route, you will see, for example, the original weapons from the war in the form of a small German Goliath tank and weapons used by members of the resistance movement. You will visit a replica of a real apartment in the Krakow Ghetto and, you find out the luxuries and privileges of Nazi life in the occupied city. The guide will show you the locations where the movie "Schindler's List" was filmed and will tell you true and controversial stories from the life of Oscar Schindler. The highlight of the tour will be a visit to the newly opened Nazi labor camp.

The tour ends at a symbolic window where your guide will show people from Schindler's List and tell them their further fate. A guided tour of the Schindler's Factory is the best place to not only fully get to know, but also understand what happened in Krakow over 80 years ago.
