Your journey begins with a relaxing cruise along the eastern tip of the Jurassic Coast, accompanied by live commentary highlighting the area’s rich history and striking landscapes. Arriving at the Victorian seaside town of Swanage, you’ll have time to explore its quaint shops and enjoy a bite to eat before heading to the railway station.
Step back to 1885 as you board a lovingly restored steam or diesel heritage train. Travel through the rolling countryside to Corfe or Norden, where you can explore free museums, wander the atmospheric ruins of Corfe Castle, or relax in one of the charming local pubs. After your railway adventure, return to Swanage and rejoin your cruise boat for a scenic journey back to Poole. Marvel once more at the dramatic chalk cliffs, golden beaches, and tranquil waters of this stunning coastline.

- No minimum age (Under 5’s go free)
- Passengers must be able to walk across the gangway (crew can assist)
- Portable wheelchairs & scooters can be stored on board. Larger scooters will need to be left by the kiosk
- Dogs are allowed on board at an additional cost
- Your voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Please book and take your experience before the expiry date.
- This experience is available seven days a week, April to October. In October, the trains do not run on Mondays or Fridays.
- Sailings from Poole Quay at 9.15am*, 10.30am, 11.45am*, 1.00pm, 2.45pm*, 3.45pm
- Sailings from Swanage at 10.30am*, 11.45am, 1.00pm*, 2.30pm, 4.00pm*, 4.45pm

- We recommend you book at least 4 weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
- Please allow 1 hour (each way) for the full experience.
- Once you make a booking with the Experience Operator, you are bound by their terms and conditions. Make sure you understand their rules regarding changing a booking (particularly at short notice), as amendments may not be possible in the case of infringement of these rules.
- Full Payment is required at the time of booking. Experience vouchers will be issued on confirmation of payment.
- Please note: It can take up to 72 hours to receive documentation
- Please do not book your transportation until you have confirmed your visit date, as the experience is subject to availability.
- Cancellation Policy: Experience vouchers can be cancelled with a full refund if cancelled within 30 days of purchase. Experience vouchers are non-refundable after 30 days of purchase, and 100% cancellation charges will apply. Please note: A refund cannot be given for a Voucher that has been partially used.
