Soak up the sun on your Disney holiday at this fabulous resort paradise that celebrates the South Seas islands' tranquil spirit and picturesque splendour. Enjoy South Pacific architecture, dense landscaping, banana trees and hibiscus and look out for the native Hawaiian Kukai tree, the only one of its kind in Florida. There are plenty of leisure facilities including two heated swimming pools, a sparkling beach and boat rentals, plus a monorail to whisk guests directly to Magic Kingdom Park, situated across the Seven Seas Lagoon.

Magic Touches

Step out of the lobby onto the monorail platform and be whisked off to Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park, simple as that! The pool is also a big hit, with its waterfalls, caves and slides, as is the stunning white sandy beach. Unwind at the end of a busy park day watching your favourite Disney Movies Under the Stars.

Why we love it

We love the relaxing feel of this resort, with the luau music playing in the background and the beautifully landscaped gardens, along with the fantastic volcano pool. From the beach you have one of the best views of Magic Kingdom making it the perfect place to watch Disney’s famous fireworks. This hotel also has the best viewing experience of Disney’s Electric Water Pageant – not to be missed!

Renovation work will take place at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort throughout 2024. Guests may see and hear painting work during daytime hours, typically from 9.00 am to 5.00pm. Construction work is also taking place at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows. To minimise any disruption, activities that may create noise will not start earlier than 9.00am.

Kona Cafe

Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, this casual restaurant starts with an American-style breakfast, but lunch and dinner have an Asian flair and features an onstage sushi kitchen. Freshly roasted Kona coffee is prepared in a press pot. Disney's Spirit of Aloha Show lets you celebrate the rich traditions of Polynesia with an all-you-care-to-eat family-style South Seas feast in the open-air dining theatre.
Reservations are highly recommended and can be made 180 days prior to your stay.
Tambu Lounge

Pull up a stool at this enchanting watering hole where you’ll find tropical drinks and Hawaiian-inspired appetizers to Tiki your fancy—from exotic flatbreads and flavorful barbecue pork ribs to island-themed specialty cocktails and a full bar menu.
‘Ohana
