Discover on a half-day tour the Art Walk in Madrid! Enjoy preferential access to Madrid’s three great pictorial museums: Prado Museum, the Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum, and the Queen Sofía National Museum Art Centre.

Our guide to Skip the Line The Best of Prado, Thyssen and Reina Sofia Museums Guided Tour

Enjoy a guided tour of the highlights the three greatest art museums Madrid has. Skip the lines at each of them and avoid the long queues.

Our first stop will take you to the Prado Museum. See paintings from Rafael Sanzio, Fra Angélico, El Bosco, Tiziano, Velázquez, Rubens and Goya. Follow your guide through the different rooms and learn about the backstories of all the famous painters and paintings.

Continue to the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum. Marvel at the many impressionist and post-impressionist paintings the museum holds. See paintings by Degas, Cezanne, Renoir and Van Gogh. Enjoy some artworks by renowned Pop Art artists such as Roy Lichtenstein.

Right after this second visit, take a break that you can use to have lunch before continuing to the Reina Sofía Museum. Access the same with your knowledgeable guide. See the Guernica by Picasso and several Salvador Dalí artworks at the site.

  • Free cancellations for bookings cancelled with the supplier 24 hours prior to the tour date. No refunds are given for cancellations made within 24 hours of tour date.
  • Visitors are kindly requested to respect the instructions of the Museums Security Staff: photography and filming are not permitted inside the exhibitions.
  • Please note this is a walking tour on arrival at the site. Wear appropriate attire. 
  • Julià Travel reserves the right to cancel the tour or modify the itinerary due to events being held at the location or due to operational reasons of force majeure. 
  • Important information: please note some paintings in our program might not be available on the day of your visit due to circumstances out of our control despite belonging to the permanent collection of the museum. It might have been assigned to another exhibition. In these cases, the paintings would be replaced by another of similar artistic value. 
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 30 travelers per guide.

  • Can I take photographs inside the Reina Sofia Museum?

    Photographs may be taken without a flash, tripod, selfie stick or any other type of camera stand in all of the Museo’s sites, with the exception of places where indicated otherwise.
