Experience Iceland's South Coast: waterfalls, glaciers, adventure.

Experience the breathtaking beauty of Iceland’s South Coast on an immersive tour featuring a visit to the stunning natural ice cave, Askur. Enjoy the thrill of a buggy ride to the glacier, and take in the awe-inspiring sights of two of Iceland’s most iconic waterfalls—Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss.

Our guide to South Coast and Askur Ice Cave Adventure

Your adventure begins with a convenient pickup in Reykjavík, followed by a scenic, carbon-neutral drive along Iceland’s legendary South Coast. As you journey through this dramatic landscape, take in sweeping views of rugged mountains, peaceful farmlands, and striking black sand beaches framed by the wild Atlantic Ocean.

The tour includes stops at two of Iceland’s most iconic waterfalls. First, marvel at Seljalandsfoss, where you can walk behind its cascading curtain for a truly unique perspective. Then, stand in awe of Skógafoss, famous for its powerful drop and the rainbows that often dance in its mist.

The day’s highlight awaits at the Mýrdalsjökull Glacier Base Camp. Here, you'll transfer to specially equipped buggies, for an exhilarating 20–30 minute ride through breathtaking glacial terrain.

No prior experience with buggies is needed. You'll ride with a partner, and the driver must present a valid driver’s license.

Once at the glacier, your journey continues on foot. Outfitted with safety gear and led by a certified glacier guide, you’ll explore the Askur Ice Cave—an enchanting world of ancient ice layered in deep blue, volcanic black, and shimmering white.

After your exploration, you'll return to the base via another scenic ride and make your way back to Reykjavík, arriving in the evening with unforgettable memories of Iceland's natural wonders.
