Join a Papal audience in St Peter’s Square! This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience and bookings are essential as you must have a confirmed reservation to attend.
Our guide to Papal Audience at Vatican City
With the election of Pope Francis 1, the Papal Audience has become a lively event! But don't worry... you're in safe hands on this tour.
Firstlyl, meet your local English-speaking guide who will escort you to St. Peter's Square via some fantastic Roman sights including the Piazza della Republica, the Piazza Barberini, the ancient Aurelian Walls and the famous Villa Borghese gardens.
When you arrive at Vatican City your guide will help you find a good spot to wait for the moment the Pope takes to the stage to give his multi-language blessing.
Afterwards, you can decide to stay in Vatican city or get the transfer bus to main central points of the city (Via Veneto, Piazza Barberini, Piazza Venezia, Piazza della Repubblica and Termini Rail Station).

7.30am. Hotel pick-ups commence beforehand - details will be advised locally upon reconfirmation.

- On occasion, due to reasons out of our control, the Pope may not appear when scheduled. While we will endeavour to let you know beforehand if this is the case, this cannot be 100% guaranteed.
- Due to high demand of participants, seats for the Papal Audience are limited and cannot be guaranteed.
- Please note - Papal Audience tickets are free. The cost of your tour covers the guide, reservation and ticket collection process and transport to Vatican City (return transport to the hotels not included).
- Cancellation Policy: Free cancellations for bookings cancelled with the supplier 4 days prior to the tour date. No refunds are given for no shows or cancellations made within 72 hours of departure.
