Universal Orlando Resort™

Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando. From April 20 through June 15, 2020 The Kitchen restaurant will undergo renovations. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch will be available in Velvet Bar, lower lobby or Avalon Ballroom. Nightly entertainment will continue as well as live music at the Sunday brunch.

  • Beachclub

It's time you did "poolside" like a rock star: lounging in the sun while a server keeps your drink fresh and your stomach full. Whether you're spending the day soaking in the pool, relaxing in a cabana or working on your tan, this beachy bar and grill is at your service. Cool off with a frozen cocktail, cold beer or refreshing fountain drink. When hunger strikes, snacks and appetizers can be ordered and enjoyed in the open-air restaurant or right from your chair.

And beachclub even brings the entertainment, with live bands or a DJ out during the day and projected movies playing at night. Cancel your photo shoots and interviews—the only thing on the agenda is sipping, snacking and sprawling like the celeb you are.

  • Emack & Bolio's Marketplace

    Emack & Bolio's Marketplace

Boston, 1975: Rock 'n' roll is everywhere – and so are touring musicians – but the clubs close abruptly at midnight. So music lawyer Bob Rook created a mellow after-hours hangout (the original Emack & Bolio's), complete with outrageous frozen treats and legendary acoustic tunes.

Emack & Bolio's constantly keeps things fresh by coming up with creative new flavours for their award-winning ice cream, sorbet, and frozen yogurt. Enjoy grab-and-go breakfast selections, milkshakes, smoothies, savoury snacks, and coffee in addition to scoops of Twisted Dee-Light, Deep Purple Chip, S'mOreo, and much more at this uber-cool shop.

  • The Kitchen

    The Kitchen

You'll feel like the centre of your very own entourage when you head to this hot local hangout famous for amped-up American favourites. It's the perfect place to sip mimosas and bloody Marys at breakfast, chow down on shrimp tacos and empanadas for lunch, or dig into their famous mac and cheese for dinner. But don't forget the encore. They've got some of the most jaw-dropping desserts you've ever seen. You may need your friends to help you finish.

Adorned with memorabilia from visiting celebrities who’ve stopped in (and could pop by again) to do some cooking, The Kitchen mixes a fun rock 'n' roll vibe with casual dining. The Kid's Crib offers little rockers their own play area, and they also feature entertainment and special events on select nights.

  • The Palm

    The Palm

Bringing the legacy of the famous New York steakhouse to Universal Orlando Resort™, The Palm is the place to find a superb meal in an uptown atmosphere. The caricatures of celebrities on the walls are a nod to the original Palm restaurant's roots in the newspaper district of Manhattan, where famous cartoonists would often exchange drawings for their meals.

World-renowned for prime aged steaks and massive Nova Scotia lobsters, The Palm's menu features honest, satisfying dishes that reflect the best of an Italian-American heritage. Finish your meal with a signature dessert and authentic Lavazza coffee (Italy's favourite) to get the full taste of this sophisticated big city staple.

  • Velvet Bar

    Velvet Bar

Undeniably cool with true rock star swagger, this sleek lobby-level bar is the perfect place to catch up with your entourage. Dark wood, red leather, and rich fabrics create the vibe of an exclusive VIP room. Come in for a night of tasty appetizers and live music, or spend a laidback evening sipping wine on the veranda. Suave and stylish, Velvet will be a smooth start or finish (or both) to your evening.

The last Thursday of every month (excluding November and December), Velvet Bar hosts the award-winning Velvet Sessions* in the lobby lounge. These incredible rock 'n' roll parties showcase different specialty cocktails along with fabulous finger foods and live music from legendary bands. Past performers include Bret Michaels, Joan Jett, Foreigner, Eddie Money, Blue Oyster Cult, and many more.
