  • Easy to purchase on-line but not so easy to validate your tickets in Rome. The office at the colosseum was closed and the office at the Vatican was down a side road and without the help of another tour guide we would never have found were to get the ticket validated. I was under the impression that once we'd handed our paperwork from home over to citysightseeing tour operator that the paperwork, tickets would be would all we required to SKIP THE LINE!

  • Due to the time spent at the Vatican ( see previous comments ) we were left with little time to see the Collisseum as it was closing at five. We could have benefited from some advice prior to going to help us organise our day better

  • The SKIP THE LINE at the Colosseum is not quite true as we had to queue with our voucher for half hour to get our ticket and then had to wait for a time slot to get in. We did skip the queue at the SIstine Chapel.

  • The Sistine Chapel although crowded was a truly incredible experience. Finding the nearest bus stop and ticket exchange to our hotel was a little challenging. We would also have preferred not to have had to use our bus tickets on consecutive days.

  • Would highly recommend the skip the line for the Vatican and Sistine chapel as the queues were enormous. We had to press to be admitted fast track at the Colosseum as staff seemed reluctant. We made very good use of the Hop on Hop off red bus which ran frequently. Overall it was definitely good value

  • The tickets were absolutely fine, you were able to bypass the main ticket buying queue, however needed to stand in the que to get in. At the colosseum you que to get your ticket, though a shorter que, your ticket has a designated time to begin your tour, you que at the time at an allocated place, best to be there about 15-30 minutes before your time.The colessuem is worth a visit, use the metro, when you walk out of the metro it is there, it was an amazing experience. While to get into the vatican museums you first need to go to an office about 10-15 minutes before walking up to the vatican museums, then you again que at a designated area to get in. I did not enjoy this tour as much as I expected to, not really the arty type, however just being in the Sistine Chapel and sitting for a period was was amazing, though security tell you to be quite and no photos, however it is worth the visit for the experience of being there. Be aware when getting off the metro for the vatican everybody wants to sell you tickets for tours, they do have good information also. However getting the tickets to get the tour tickets was a real annoyance. Followed instruction on how to get your ticket, however was unable to collect from booth at the colosseum, needed to go on the tour bus, do a lap of of the attractions before being able to que to get my tickets. Hop on and hop off bus is okay, though I did not really use, again you need to que to get on the bus and they can be very busy, you may not get on the bus. I found walking to the attractions was easy enough once I had got my bearings. Get a ticket for the metro, although very busy, it was 20 euros for a 72hr ticket and it took you everywhere you needed to go and more, and it is very frequent.

  • Although the hop on hop off service was great. Once on the bus they exchange the eticket for paper printed ones for Colosseum Vatican and Sistine chapel which we had to queue to have these exchanged for entry tickets, therefore not skipping any queues. Waiting times for the colosseum in august is around 3hrs with these skip the line ones.

  • The bus tour is good but very long. With good shoes it would be quicker to walk as they stop for too many breaks and Rome is a one way system so you have to go all the way round.

  • Colosseum skip the line was waste of money as everyone had paid for this hence queue was v.long and queue to pay was v.short. Vatican and Sistine Chapel was good no queue. Hop on bus was well worth it but in our case 1 day would have been enough as we like to walk. Rome is not so big.
