The holiday season at Universal Studios Hollywood kicks off just after Thanksgiving, on November 28, running until December 29. Get into the spirit as the Park is adorned with holiday decorations, holiday-themed food, characters and plenty of photo opportunities too.
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter
Sitting down to watch your favourite Harry Potter film is a Christmas tradition for many families, however now you can be part of the festive magic at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Universal Studios Hollywood.
Hogwarts Castle lights up with a dazzling display of lights and music, transforming it into a holiday spectacle. The Holiday Frog Choir will delight you with holiday songs, accompanied by the smooth bass rumbles of their giant throaty frogs. Hogsmeade is transformed into a beautiful winter wonderland, complete the festive decor, lights, garlands and wreaths. Of course, loads of seasonal food will be available at the Three Broomsticks too, including a Holiday Dinner and hot Butterbeer.
Grinchmas
Everyone’s favourite grumpy yet loveable character, the Grinch is returning to Universal Studios Hollywood with Grinchmas. Snap a photo with The Grinch and Max, and loads more of your favourite Who-ville neighbours. There’s also a brand new Grinchmas tree, which you can enjoy lit up in all its glory.
CityWalk Holidays
Be treated to entertainment, movies at more when the holidays return to Universal CityWalk. Brighten up your visit with the iconic Christmas tree, which includes choreographed, pulsing LEDS that dance along with the music and lights at the 5 Towers Stage. Go Christmas shopping along the CityWalk shops, finding the perfect main gifts and stocking fillers too.
You’ll also be able to see where the movies are made, including this year’s holiday blockbusters, at the Universal Cinema. Once you’re down taking in all the festive spirit, continue the celebrations with a unique meal at one of over 30 places to eat, including Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville, VIVO Italian Kitchen and Antojitos Cocina Mexicana, the newest restaurant at Universal CityWalk.
