Not usually my top park to visit. However everyone in the family took a positive message away from the park, The grandkids loved the challenge booklet and enjoyed all the animal facts at the different stops across the park, and gathering their stickers for the booklet. Great job Animal Kingdom. Without doubt my best ride was Avator, Flight of Passage.

EPCOT has always been my favourite park. I did find this year that a lot of popular rides were in the worldwide showcase and yet again, Frozen in Norway was a 2 hour wait. Younger children struggle to stand in a queue for that long. So, this visit didn’t see me visiting as many lands as previously visited. However the fireworks did not disappoint and I give them 200/10!

Bought hubby a ticket to make his own lightsabre at Savi’s Workshop. This was the highlight of his holiday! A special day at Star Wars. A family group who had to split up as everyone wanted to experience a different ride. It worked for most of us however I had waited over 10 years to ride Slinky rollercoaster and the queue was constantly over 60 minutes so I gave up on the wait. However, it was almost our last day and I was upset as I still hadn’t got on the Slinky ride so some of us went back to the park after 8pm. I still had a 80 mins wait but finally got on as the park was closing its doors! Rode it in the dark with nearby fireworks overhead so came home a happy lass.

A totally different experience from previous trips as we spent a lot of time in Fantasyland as first time visiting with grandkids, It was lovely to see their excited faces and even daring to ride Barnstormer rollercoaster. Then the family split up and did rides throughout the lands. Unfortunately the new big rides were not achieved by any of our family party as wait times too long. I refuse to buy Lightening Passes as I feel i have paid enough for my entry ticket (having saved for 2 years to get here in the first instance) and I feel it’s an unfair advantage when someone with money jumps the queue without a thought that they are actually pushing us in the normal queue further down the line. A fairer way to get on the ride would be for time slots to be introduced for all. You could select your preferred date and allocated, say, 3 rides and everyone gets a chance to ride and not just those people with money,

Loved just chilling out at Typhoon Lagoon. It was very busy and hard to find sunloungers but as the family were coming back and forth from various flumes we secured a couple of loungers and chairs and settled in one spot. The grandkids loved their special area with baby flumes.

Delight in the genteel feel of Louisiana along the Mississippi at this charming waterfront resort that is reminiscent of the Deep South of the late 1800’s. Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside combines two distinct areas, the stately white-column mansions of Magnolia Bend and the quaint backwoods cottages of Alligator Bayou.
