If you’re staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, use Extra Magic Hours – these give you the opportunity to escape the crowds and visit the parks outside of regular opening hours at no extra charge.

September 2024 Through Late 2027 - Refurbishments will occur in phases throughout select areas of Disney’s Contemporary Resort—including the Atrium and Bay Lake Tower. Guests may also see and hear construction during their stay.

From January 26, 2026, to early May 2026, the Bay Cove Pool, Bay Cove Water Play Area, and Bay Cove Pool Spa at Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort will be closed for maintenance. The Contemporary Feature Pool, Water Play Area, and Spas, and the Bay Lake Pool at Disney’s Contemporary Resort will remain open for Guests to enjoy. Guests may see or hear construction until the work is completed in May.

From March 30, 2026 to May 1, 2026: The Skyway Bridge connecting Bay Lake Tower and the Contemporary Main Tower will be closed Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. and will reopen daily after 5 p.m. and remain available evenings and weekends. Guests may need to use alternate paths of travel at times and may see or hear construction activity while work is underway.

The park of many rides for everyone & my daughters favourite as she loves,to meet Mickey & Minnie whenever we go there. They have a magical parade of all the characters plus at the end of the evening they have fireworks display which is magical.

This park wasnt open due to maintenance this year but have gone there in past years and have had a good day here as ther are more 2 man boat rides for my daughter to go on with her dad which she loves to do.

This park is a great one for the Star War fans & Toy Story fans as you will find these attractions in this park. It gets very busy all year round. There are also plenty of shows to go see so everyone is catered for and gives you a break from the heat. I always purchase my tickets from Attraction tickets direct before going to America and have them on my phone in the Disney app and never get any problems with them at gate entrance.

This was a first time visit to blizzard beach and although its very nice with lots of water rides there wasnt a lot of rides that has a 2 man boat for my daughter & husband to do together most of the rides are 1 man boats my daughter will only do 2 man as she's not confident enough to go on her own. There doesnt seem to be enough seating in this park to accommodate the crowds that go there but it doesnt seem to bother most people but there are lockers to put your things in secure. There are towels on hand which are free so no need to bring your own which is a great addition as most water parks charge for towel hire. Plenty of places to eat & drink which the Americans do in abundance.
