Soarin’ Across America debuts at Disney California Adventure Park

The Soarin’ attraction gets a brand-new film for 2026, created as part of the America250 Semiquincentennial celebrations. Guests are taken on a hang-glider journey across more than a dozen US locations - New England, New York Harbor, the Grand Canyon, Hawaii and more - with a new score and narration from Bruce Broughton. The ride system stays the same; only the film is new!
D23 Day & Disney Jr Let’s Play! Party

Where? Disneyland Resort
A one-day event for all resort guests with themed moments and character surprises, kicking off the countdown to D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. Families with young children will find live entertainment, Disney Jr characters and photo opportunities at Disney California Adventure Park, with the party extending to Downtown Disney District from 13-16 August.
Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort

One of the most popular times to visit Disneyland Resort, Halloween Time transforms both parks from late August through October - all included with your park ticket. Highlights include the Haunted Mansion Holiday inspired by Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas overlay (with an all-new gingerbread house design this year), Halloween Screams with fireworks at weekends, and Plaza de la Families - a Coco-inspired Dia de los Muertos celebration in Paradise Gardens Park at Disney California Adventure running until 2 November.
Oogie Boogie Bash - A Disney Halloween Party

Disneyland Resort’s flagship Halloween party runs for a record 33 nights in 2026, with trick-or-treat trails, Villains Grove, rare character meet-and-greets, and the new Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake street party replacing the Frightfully Fun Parade. The event runs 6pm-11pm, with entry from 3pm included in the ticket. Tickets start from $139 per guest (ages 3+) on the quietest dates, rising to $199 for Halloween night. Holidays at the Disneyland Resort

Where? Both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park
The resort’s holiday season kicks off on 18 November, with both parks dressed for Christmas and beyond. Disneyland Park hosts the Believe…In Holiday Magic fireworks spectacular, A Christmas Fantasy Parade, and the “it’s a small world” Holiday and Haunted Mansion Holiday inspired by Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas overlays. Disney California Adventure Park’s Disney Festival of Holidays celebrates Christmas, Hanukkah, Diwali, Kwanzaa, Navidad and Three Kings Day with festive food marketplaces and live entertainment. What is Disneyland After Dark?
Disneyland After Dark is a series of separately ticketed, themed after-hours parties held at Disneyland Park. Each event runs 9pm-1am, but ticket holders can enter from 6pm, giving three hours of overlap with the regular park day.
Every ticket includes ride access (with much shorter queues than during the day), exclusive entertainment and cavalcades, rare character meet-and-greets, event-only food and merchandise, and unlimited Disney PhotoPass downloads. Disneyland After Dark will be back next year!
What is the difference between Disneyland After Dark and Oogie Boogie Bash?
Both are separately ticketed after-hours events, but they take place at different parks. Disneyland After Dark nights are held at Disneyland Park and run across various themes throughout the year. Oogie Boogie Bash is a Halloween-specific party held at Disney California Adventure Park, running from mid-August to 31 October. Both require a separate ticket on top of any existing park admission.
Which Disneyland Resort events are included with park admission?
Most of Disneyland Resort’s seasonal celebrations are included with a standard park ticket and reservation. In 2026, that includes the 70th Celebration (until 9 August), Halloween Time (21 August to 31 October), Plaza de la Familia (21 August to 2 November), and Holidays at the Disneyland Resort (from 18 November). Disneyland After Dark nights and Oogie Boogie Bash always require a separate ticket.
When do Disneyland Resort event tickets go on sale?
Separately ticketed events like Disneyland After Dark and Oogie Boogie Bash go on sale at 9am Pacific Time via Disneyland.com - that’s 5pm UK time during British Summer Time. If you’re a Magic Key annual passholder, you may get access to a pre-sale one to two days before the general public. Tickets for popular dates, particularly October nights for Oogie Boogie Bash, can sell out within hours of going on sale.
