5 Shows You Can’t Miss at Universal Orlando Resort
Characters, stunts and LOTS of paint!
It’s not just about the rides at Universal Orlando Resort! There are so many great shows you must see…

1. Universal’s Superstar Parade

Universal Superstar Parade

Get ready to join in the fun as the streets of Universal Studios Florida are transformed into one giant stage for a performance you’ll never forget. The park comes alive with music, dancing and special appearances from all your favourite characters.

There’ll be lots of familiar faces, with the likes of SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora and Diego, Gru, Agnes, Margo, Edith and the mischievous Minions, and characters from The Secret Life of pets all joining in the fun. The parade takes place every afternoon, and we’d recommend arriving early to get the perfect viewing spot. Make sure you wave along as the characters glide past on their dazzling floats.

2. Blue Man Group

So far, this incredible show has wowed more than 35 million people worldwide and we consider it an absolute must-see! Not sure what to expect? Well, the show is described as a “comedy, theatre, rock concert and dance party all rolled into one”. The outrageous performance is led by 3 bald men, covered from head to toe in bright blue paint! Packed with colour from start to finish, the show features the weird and wonderful, including special effects, paint flying through the air and lots of audience participation. If you’re sitting in the first 3 rows, be warned, you’re given a waterproof poncho to wear and you’ll certainly be needing it!

With our current special offer, you could save up to 45% off Blue Man Group tickets when you book in advance!

3. Triwizard Spirit Rally

Triwizard Spirit Rally

Harry Potter fans will know all about the famous Triwizard Tournament, and this fantastic show is all about the excitement and celebrations leading up to it. Watch in awe as a procession of students from the legendary wizarding schools of Hogwarts, Durmstrang and Beauxbatons make their grand entrance. Just like in the movie, the Durmstrang boys will be performing martial art-style moves, while the Beauxbatons ladies in blue, demonstrate their impressive gymnastics routine. This show is a must-see for any serious Potter fan.

4. Fear Factor Live

Fear Factor Live at Universal Orlando Resort

Universal have described this amazing show as the “most extreme audience participation show ever”! Inspired by the popular TV show, guests will compete against one another to be crowned the winner, in front of a live audience. The fun bit is, you never know whether you’ll be watching or taking part!

If you’re chosen to get up on stage, you can expect to perform gravity-defying stunts and come face to face with lots of creepy crawlies! There’s also some less extreme stunts that the kids can get involved with, making this a great show for the whole family.

5. The Blues Brothers Show

Blues Brothers at Universal Orlando Resort

While you’re exploring the park, make sure you head to the New York area, where you’ll come across the famous Blues Brothers. The smooth duo will be performing hits you’ll recognise from the classic movie, like ‘Soul Man’ and ‘Sweet Home Chicago’.

Direct from the streets of Chicago, Jake and Elwood captivate the crowd in their trademark black suits, porkpie hats and dark sunglasses. There’s even a live saxophone player and a waitress called Mabel, who gets the show started with an Aretha Franklin classic. Make sure you hang around afterwards to get your photo taken with the pair.
