Private pools, theme park tickets and 20+ years of Orlando know-how - all in one booking!
AttractionTickets.com now sells Orlando villa holidays. Here's what that means for your trip, and why a private home near Orlando’s biggest theme parks might suit you better than a hotel room.

Orlando villas have become one of the most popular ways to holiday in Florida, and it’s easy to see why. A private villa gives you space, a pool, and a base that actually feels like home after a long day at the parks. For families, groups of friends, or multi-generational holidays, villas in Orlando offer something a hotel simply can’t match.

AttractionTickets.com now offers Orlando villa holidays alongside our theme park tickets, so you can book your villa and your Disney or Universal tickets in one place, with one team behind both. Here’s everything you need to know.

Villa vs hotel - what’s the real difference?

If you’ve always stayed in hotels in Orlando, here’s what makes villas feel so different, and why so many repeat visitors make the switch.

Space that really works for families

A hotel room, even a suite, is designed for sleeping in. An Orlando villa is designed for living in. Multiple bedrooms with their own bathrooms means adults and children aren’t tripping over each other! There’s a proper lounge for winding down, a dining table big enough for everyone, and a kitchen that means you’re not paying resort prices for every meal.

For groups of eight, ten or more, splitting the cost of a villa rental in Orlando often works out significantly cheaper per person than booking hotel rooms, especially when you factor in the meals you’d otherwise be paying for.

Your own private pool

Florida villas with a private pool are one of the biggest draws of this type of holiday. After a ten-hour day at Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park, having a pool that belongs just to your group - no queueing, no noise, no strangers - is genuinely restorative. All of our villas in Kissimmee include a private pool as standard, and during the winter months, many can be heated for an additional fee.

Beyond the private pool, most Orlando villa communities also have large communal pool areas with waterslides, lazy rivers and splash zones, so there’s no shortage of water-based fun for the kids.

A proper kitchen changes everything

One of the most overlooked benefits of Florida villa rentals is the kitchen. Breakfast for a family of eight at a theme park resort can cost a small fortune. In a villa, you can pick up groceries from a nearby Walmart or Publix and make your own, giving you more money to spend where it counts.

Resort facilities included

Renting a villa in Orlando doesn’t mean giving up on resort amenities. Many of the communities that we work with come with communal facilities included in your stay - from swimming pools and clubhouses to gyms, tennis courts, mini-golf, and sometimes full waterparks. Reunion Resort, for example, has a 5-acre waterpark, three PGA championship golf courses and seven on-site restaurants!

Where are the Orlando villas located?

Almost all of our Orlando holiday villa rentals are concentrated in two main areas: Kissimmee and Davenport, in Florida. Both sit in the western Orlando corridor, close to the I-4 and with easy access to Orlando’s top attractions.

Kissimmee villas are the closest to Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. Some communities like Windsor Hills Resort are only four miles from the parks. Storey Lake Resort sits near Celebration, also just minutes from Disney. These are ideal if Walt Disney World Resort is your main base.

Davenport villas, including Solterra Resort, ChampionsGate Resort and Highlands Reserve, are slightly further out but tend to offer more space and a quieter setting. The drive to Disney is about 15-20 minutes. ChampionsGate has its own Oasis Club waterpark, so many families barely need to leave.

International Drive villas - Villatel Orlando sits on I-Drive and is the only villa community in our range within this location. It’s the closest to Universal Orlando Resort and just two miles from the new Universal Epic Universe park, making it perfect if Universal is your priority.

What you need to know about Orlando villas

An Orlando villa holiday means renting a private home, usually within a gated resort community, for the duration of your trip. Villas in Orlando are typically spacious, detached houses with 3-13 bedrooms, set within resort-style communities that include communal pools, clubhouses, sports courts and sometimes full waterparks.

Our collection of Orlando villa rentals come fully equipped with everything you’d expect at home - a fully-fitted kitchen, multiple living areas, laundry facilities and, of course, a private pool! Many also include extras like themed bedrooms, games room, home cinemas and outdoor hot tubs.

The majority of Florida villa rentals in the Orlando area are in Kissimmee or Davenport - both of which are in the Western corridor that puts Walt Disney World ResortUniversal Orlando Resort and SeaWorld within easy reach. Some communities, like Villatel on International Drive, are even closer to Universal and the new Universal Epic Universe theme park.

Can I book theme park tickets with my Orlando villa?

Yes, and this is where booking your Orlando villa holiday with AttractionTickets.com makes a real difference. We’ve been selling Walt Disney World ResortUniversal Orlando Resort and SeaWorld tickets for over 20 years.

Adding tickets to your villa booking means everything comes from one team, and we can help you plan when to visit which parks, how many days to allow, and which tickets offer the best value for your group.

We can also advise on the best areas for villas in Orlando depending on which parks you’re planning to visit. If Disney is your main event, Windsor Hills Resort or Storey Lake Resort will minimise your drive time. If Universal and Epic Universe are top of the list, Villatel is by far the best base. Simply speak to the team and we can help you decide!

Are Orlando villa holidays right for you?

For families with young children, larger groups, multi-generational parties, or anyone planning more than a week in Florida, an Orlando villa almost always makes more sense than a hotel. The space, the pool, the kitchen, and the community facilities add up to an unforgettable kind of holiday.

For couples or solo travellers on a shorter trip, a hotel in the resort area might be more practical. But for groups of six or more, the maths (and the experience) almost always points to a villa.

The practical bit: Orlando villas require a minimum stay of around five to seven nights. You’ll need a hire car or plan around ride-sharing apps, as most communities aren’t walkable to the parks. And you’ll also want to factor in your food shop in the first day or two.
