As the sun sets on days filled with thrills in all of Universal’s theme parks, the night awakens with a frightening chill at Universal
Studios Florida. Enter mind-ripping haunted houses inspired by the biggest names in horror. Face nightmarish creatures on streets twisted into sinister scare zones. Lose yourselves in outrageous live entertainment filled with diabolical surprises. Then escape to some of Universal Studios Florida’s most exhilarating attractions.

Day admission tickets, Annual / Seasonal Passes and Complimentary Passes are not valid for Halloween Horror Nights admission. The Halloween Horror Nights event begins at 6:30 pm and closing times vary. Additional restrictions apply. The above Admission Media is non-refundable, non-transferable, and must be used by the same person on all days. Standard entry includes biometric scan. Valid only during normal operating hours. Parks, attractions, or entertainment may: close due to refurbishing, capacity, weather or special events; change operating hours; and otherwise change or be discontinued without notice and without liability to the owners of Universal Orlando Resort (“Universal”). The Universal Orlando Halloween Horror Nights ticket on-sale date varies each year. Tickets are normally available to purchase from the Spring and the event runs on select nights in September and October each year. Universal's Halloween Horror Nights in Florida is a separately ticketed event, so admission is not included with a Universal Orlando Explorer Ticket.

Do I have to leave if I'm already in the park that day?

If you are already in the park when they close and have a valid ticket for Halloween Horror Nights, members of staff will guide you to a holding area so you don't need to leave the park and re-enter.

Do I have to book a date for Halloween Horror Nights?

Yes, in order to control capacity at Universal Halloween Horror Nights, you must select your event date at the time of booking.

What time does Halloween Horror Nights start in Orlando?

The Universal Studios park closes around 5.00pm and then the Halloween Horror Nights event begins around 6.30pm on select nights.

What is included in my Halloween Horror Nights ticket?

Your Halloween Horror Nights ticket gives you admission to one of the scariest Halloween events. There are plenty of themed haunted houses or mazes to visit as well as night-time attractions to enjoy. Aside from this, scare actors will be roaming around the park to give you a 'warm' welcome. It's a very unique experience that you won't forget quickly!

Do Universal Resorts buses run through the night?

The Universal Resorts buses run throughout the night until CityWalk closes. The last Universal Resorts bus is usually around 2.00am.

Are the Halloween Horror Nights scary for children?

This event is scary and is not recommended for children under the age of 13. Children under 13 years can attend, although this is at the parent's discretion.

Can the actors touch you?

Scare actors will play with your fears and come really close, but they will not touch you. This doesn't mean they can't scare you though! 

What happens if it rains?

In the very unlikely event of rain in the evening, the event occurs rain or shine. No rainchecks, returns or refunds due to inclement weather.

Can I buy an Express Pass for Halloween Horror Nights?

If you only have a limited time and want to get around a good selection of houses, you can purchase the Halloween Horror Nights Express Pass for Halloween Horror Nights. This can only be done directly at the park as there is limited availability each night.

Do I need a general admission ticket if I only want to go to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal?

No, you can just purchase a Halloween Horror Nights ticket for the evening event if you do not want to go to the park at any other time.

How many mazes are there?

Usually there are around 10 mazes/houses each year each with its own theme. There are also additional scare areas around the park.
