SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment inspires visitors of all ages to celebrate and conserve the natural world. Through up-close animal encounters, educational exhibits and innovative entertainment, guests leave with a heightened sensitivity to the world around them and an awareness of the plight of animals in the wild. The parks' commitment to research and conservation also has led to advances in the care of animals in both zoological facilities and wild populations.

SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment focuses its conservation efforts in the following areas:

-          Science and research

o   SeaWorld’s animal experts contribute meaningful science learned through the care of these animals which allow researchers and biologists better understand and conserve them in the wild.

-          Rescue and rehab

o   Working in partnership with state, local, and federal agencies, the SeaWorld rescue teams are on call 24/7 assisting animals that are orphaned, ill, injured or in need of expert care. The team has helped more than 23,000 animals in more than four decades.

-          Worldwide care
