How Do Dining Plans Work?

  • Your meal and snack entitlements are loaded onto your Disney MagicBand or card.
  • Touch your Disney MagicBand or card to the magic point when making a purchase.
  • Your server will give you a receipt showing your updated meal balance.

Want to eat light one day and splurge the next? Not a problem! Meals and snacks can be redeemed at any time during your stay. Unused meals and snacks will roll over day to day and expire at midnight on the reservation checkout date.

Tips to Remember!

  • Reservations are recommended! Character Dining and Signature Restaurants book up quickly, but you can make reservations up to 60 days before your visit
  • Quick-Service meals are great for casual dining or pit stops in the parks, while Table-Service meals are perfect when you want to relax over your meal.
  • Something to celebrate? For two Table-Service meals per person, you can experience fine dining with a distinctly magical flair at one of the Fine/Signature restaurants. Restrictions apply.
  • Snacks are available at Quick-Service restaurants and outdoor food carts throughout the Resort, including drinks, popcorn, ice cream and fresh fruit.
  • Dining Plans are not available for guests under the age of 3, but they can share from an adult plate at no charge, or a separate meal may be purchased from the menu.

Southern mansions and bayou accommodations line the Sassagoula River at Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside Resort. Delight in a picturesque setting that evokes the romance of rural Louisiana of the late 1800’s. This charming Southern-style resort is well positioned just a stone’s throw from Disney Springs and Epcot and on days off from the parks, there are seven swimming pools to enjoy, as well as bicycle and boat rentals. The 1.6km jogging trail along the Sassagoula River provides a great opportunity for a stroll with the family. Along with its sister property, the Disney’s Port Orleans Resort French Quarter, Disney's Port Orleans Resort offers great value for money for a fabulous Disney holiday.

    Take advantage of the unlimited complimentary transportation to the Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks either via road or water. When away from the magical parks, take time to cycle around the resort, take a boat journey or better still relax on a horse-drawn carriage!

    Enjoy Southern-style cuisine at Boatwrights, the resorts full-service restaurant which is modelled after a boat-making warehouse or sip a late drink in the River Roost Lounge, an old farming exchange where southern gentleman would meet to discuss their deals on harvest wares.

    Boatwright’s Dining Hall

    A Giant boat hangs overhead in this restored warehouse once used for building ships. The casual dine restaurant overlooks the Sassagoula River and serves breakfast and dinner. Menu items include hearty breakfasts, steaks, prime rib, seafood dishes with delicious cajun flavours, Southern specialties plus there is a full-service bar. Reservations are highly recommended and can be made 180 days prior to your stay.

    Riverside Mill Food Court

    A working cotton press operated by a water wheel acts as the centrepiece of this food court. Several different stands serve many tastes from New Orleans including burgers, sandwiches, pasta, chicken dishes, salads, and more. There is also a country market loaded with pre-packaged items. Beer and wine are available. The food court is open from early morning to midnight and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

    River Roost is a typically old-fashioned southern style lounge that offers live entertainment by the ever popular Yehaa Bob. Light snacks and other refreshments are also served. Open daily from late afternoon to midnight.
