Travelling to Walt Disney World Resort in Florida between August and November? Then you’ll want to sync up your trip with Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party event days, taking place from August 13 - November 1, 2020. 

What to expect

Taking place in Magic Kingdom Park on selected days, this family-friendly celebration offers a chance for guests to see some of their favourite Disney Characters in all their Halloween-inspired finery, and take part in some fantastic themed events. 

Disney’s Not So Spooky Spectacular - Gaze in awe as the skies above Magic Kingdom Park light up with lasers, fireworks, and much more!

Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular - Enjoy wicked fun in this celebration hosted by the famous Sanderson Sisters from Hocus Pocus.

Boo-to-You Halloween Parade - There’s family-friendly frights with stars from the Haunted Mansion in this masquerade event.

The Cadaver Dans Barbershop Quartet - Head to Frontierland to find this Dapper Dans-style “band”, which will leave you howling with laughter!

Family-Friendly Activities

Younger Guests

Travelling with little ones? Storybook Circus is showcasing some of your Disney Junior favourites, ready to boogie on down with younger guests. Get on down to the Disney Junior Jam in Fantasyland, and join in the fun with Doc McStuffins, Timon and Vampirina. 

 

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party takes place on selected nights between August 13 - November 1, 2020. It is a separately ticketed event.

Come in Costume for the Occasion

Before brewing up your make-believe best, please read our official costume guidelines for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party—or simply visit shopDisney to put together the pumpkin-perfect disguise!

 

GENERAL

  • Disney reserves the right to deny admission to or remove any person wearing attire that is considered inappropriate or could detract from the experience of other Guests.

  • All Guests may dress as their favorite character, but may not pose for pictures or sign autographs for other Guests.

  • Costumes must be family-friendly and may not be obstructive, offensive, objectionable or violent.

  • Costumes may not contain any weapons that resemble or could easily be mistaken for an actual weapon.

  • Costumes may not contain sharp objects, pointed objects or materials that may accidentally strike another Guest.

  • Guests who do not adhere to these guidelines may be refused entry into, and/or removed from, the park unless his or her costume can be modified to meet the above standards.

 

GUESTS AGES 13 AND UNDER

  • Costumes and some masks may be worn, as long as the mask does not cover the entire face and eyes are visible.

 

GUESTS AGES 14 AND OLDER

  • Layered costumes or costume props that surround the entire body are strongly discouraged and may be subject to additional security screening.

  • Costumes may not reach or drag on the ground. (e.g., full-length Princess dresses)

  • Capes may be worn if the length does not go below the waist.

  • Themed T-shirts, blouses, sweatshirts and hats are acceptable.

  • Acceptable accessories include: transparent wings, plastic light sabers, toy swords and tutus. Headwear may be worn as long as it does not cover the face.

  • Masks of any kind may not be worn.
