Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter takes guests back in time to experience the romance and adventure of the mighty Mississippi and good old Southern hospitality. Located just one mile from Epcot, this colourful resort creates the Big Easy the family-friendly way, where you can enjoy boat trips along Mississippi-style waterways, colourful Mardi Gras characters and horse-drawn excursions by the Sassagoula River. Discover cobblestone streets, gas lamps, wrought-iron balconies and fragrant magnolia blossoms. The sounds of Jazz music are never far away.

Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside is a short stroll along the lushly landscaped Sassagoula River. Here the bayou beckons, as do Cajun and Creole specialties.

Magic Touches

Mardi Gras prevails at the Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory, where large replicas of floats are suspended from warehouse-like ceilings. Guest rooms are well furnished and have delicate themed touches to bring the feel of New Orleans into your accommodation along with all the amenities you’ll need.

They have now stopped the refillable drinks cup that we used to enjoy although still offer a refillable beer one , shame as kids love the cups , getting iced water was also difficult here.

It's just "Magic" there is no way to describe it unless you have been. Your younger and current self will love you for visiting. No matter how old your children (ours are now 25 & 13) and have loved it from day one. There is always something new to experience and enjoy.
