Black Canyon

Another great option is to go on a helicopter and black canyon rafting tour.

Black Canyon Adventures take groups on a raft along the Colorado River to see the stunning Black Canyon.

The tour from Black Canyon Adventures starts at Boulder City and follows the Lower Portal Road, which is the same road construction workers for the Hoover Dam took.

Groups will then board the raft at the base of the Hoover Dam and will get stunning views of the Hoover Dam and the Mike O’Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge.

Over the course of the next three hours groups will travel down the 12-miles of the Black Canyon National Water Trail and see a range of geological wonders including 2,000 feet walls of rock, waterfalls and hot springs.

Another great way to see the stunning outdoors that this area boasts is to go on a zipline adventure.

Flightlinez Bootleg is only 30 minutes away from the strip of Las Vegas, but the Mojave Desert seems like a million miles away from the Strip.

There are four different zip lines and over the four runs guests will travel over 8,000 feet and reach speeds of 60mph down the Red Mountains.

The three-hour experience may involve some hiking, but the stunning views of the desert and the mountains certainly make the experience worthwhile.
