Our Disneyland® Paris Expert's review of their stay at Les Villages Nature® Paris.

I'm here to tell you about our stay at Les Villages Nature® Paris - a large eco-resort similar in style to Center Parcs, set among trees and wildlife just a ten-minute drive from Disneyland® Paris. My future sister-in-law and I were staying for just over a week in the summer, so we decided to combine a Center Parcs-style break with our Disney trip to make the most of our time away!

Getting there and checking in

We took a taxi straight from the airport to Les Villages Nature® Paris. All we had to do was show our paperwork at the gate, and the team directed our driver to the right drop-off point.

After finding our apartment and dropping off our bags, we headed to one of the on-site restaurants for a bite to eat - it had been a long travel day, and we arrived just in time for lunch!

Getting around the resort

After we had eaten, we checked out the on-site mini supermarket and grabbed some snacks for our stay. The main facilities were around a ten-minute walk from our apartment, or five minutes by bike.

We rented bikes for our stay and had a cycle around to get our bearings - the resort is very flat, so there are no hills to tackle, and dedicated walking and cycle paths make it easy to find your way around.

The nearest bus stop was around a ten-minute bike ride away. From there, you can catch a paid shuttle bus straight to the Disneyland® Paris Parks, or drive and park at the parks for free.

Booking activities

There's plenty to keep you busy beyond the Disney Parks, with activities available to book at an additional cost. We tried the Segway tour and the high ropes course, both of which were a real highlight of the trip! We booked ours through the Les Villages Nature app.

If you ever need support linking your booking so that you can book activities, just give them a call on 01 73 27 55 91 and they will be happy to help get your booking all linked. Call 0033 1 64185092 for any spa reservations.

Our apartment

We went into our apartment and unpacked our bags. Our apartment had a bedroom and bathroom each, plus a spacious kitchen with a fridge, freezer, oven, toaster and kettle. We picked up a pizza from the on-site shop and cooked it ourselves - proof that the oven was easy to use! The apartment was clean and comfortable throughout, and the outside deck was a lovely spot to eat when the weather was warm.

The resort offers a good range of accommodation to suit different group sizes, including one and two-bedroom apartments. AttractionTickets.com offers accommodation sleeping up to six people, and all apartments are self-catering, so you can enjoy meals in the comfort of your own space and make the stay feel like a home from home.

The Aqualagon and other facilities

My favourite part of the resort was the Aqualagon - an indoor and outdoor water park and pool complex included in your stay. One tip worth knowing: towels aren't provided at the pool, so bring your own or pack the ones from your apartment! There's also a large children's playground for little ones to enjoy.

Disney dining and tickets

Les Villages Nature® Paris isn't a Disney-owned hotel, so a Disney Meal Plan couldn't be added to our stay. We could, however, book Character Dining in advance, including the Princess Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner, and the Character Breakfast or Dinner.

Our hotel and ticket package included Disneyland® Paris 2-Day/2-Park Tickets. These are Park Hopper tickets and don't need to be used on consecutive days, so we had the flexibility to build in rest days around our park visits. You could even save one for your first day and one for your last, if you wanted!

AttractionTickets.com also offers room-only bookings if you'd rather add park tickets separately; we opted for 4-Day/2-Park Tickets for our stay. We also made good use of Extra Magic Time to get on some of the more popular rides without the wait.

Would we stay again?

Les Villages Nature® Paris turned out to be the perfect way to extend our trip without losing any of the Disneyland® Paris magic. Having the Aqualagon, bikes and activities like the high ropes course on our doorstep meant we had just as much to do on our rest days as we did in the parks themselves!

If you're after a Disney trip with a bit more breathing room - somewhere to relax, cook your own meals and enjoy some time outdoors between park days - we'd happily recommend it. It suited us perfectly for a girls' trip, but it's easy to see how well it would work for families too, with apartments sleeping up to six and plenty of space to spread out.
