Watch 24 Hour SeaWorld Penguin Cam!
See what the SeaWorld penguins are up to!
SeaWorld recently teamed up with Discovery Channel tp promote Frozen Planet USA, allowing 24 hour web cameras to be installed into the home of SeaWorld’s penguins.

We recently told you that SeaWorld’s penguins, some of which were spotted aboard a Delta flight to New York to attend the premiere of Frozen Planet USA, would become the stars of a live streaming experience.

Discovery Channel has installed twenty four hour web cameras into the Penguin Encounter exhibit at SeaWorld San Diego, which is being streamed to the world-wide-web. The Penguin Cam allows us to admire the penguins in their natural habitat, without having to purchase SeaWorld tickets! The project gives a much deeper insight into the lives and the characters of SeaWorld’s three hundred penguins and showcases how SeaWorld cares for and nurtures them.

The penguin cam went live on the 1st March and has already clocked up more than 250,000 viewers. The most popular viewing times seem to be in the mornings, when new snow is supplied for the penguins and the afternoon feeding time.

Although nothing beats getting those SeaWorld tickets and seeing the penguins in the flesh, the live video streams allow you to select which camera you choose to view the penguins from, giving you the opportunity to view the penguins above and beneath the arctic waters.
