Discover the gorgeous city of Bath on a self-paced day excursion by train. Commence your journey from Paddington Station at 8:30 a.m. Use the code provided at any ticket machine to receive your train tickets - your train departs at 9 a.m. Settle into your seat and unwind as you traverse the picturesque landscapes of the English countryside. Upon reaching Bath, you have the entire day to uncover its captivating beauty. When booking, kindly indicate your preferred return time. We will aim to issue tickets as close to your chosen times as possible, as seats are subject to availability.

Your Bath adventure awaits. Equipped with a free area map, explore all the city has to offer, including the breathtaking Bath Abbey, the impressive Pulteney Bridge and the rich and unique selection of independent boutiques, gift shops, artisan food shops, restaurants, bars and cafes.
Trains return to London every 30 minutes until approximately 10 p.m. You will receive a call from our Reservations team after booking to confirm your return time, so please leave your contact details.

Shortly after making your booking, you will receive an information pack with your tickets included. 

Choose between entry to the Roman Baths or a Hop-on Hop-off bus tour of Bath or both.

The Roman Baths
Celebrated as one of the most exceptional historical sites in Northern Europe, the Roman Baths stand as a remarkably well-preserved testament to antiquity, with a history spanning millennia. As you visit this iconic location, you'll have the opportunity to discover Britain's most renowned hot spring, explore the Sacred Spring, the Roman Temple, and the Roman Bath House, and even savour the waters at the Grand Pump Room.

Bath Hop-on Hop-off bus
Take in the splendid views of the charming Georgian city of Bath aboard our Hop-on Hop-off open-top bus. With two distinct routes and 37 stops to discover, you'll have the opportunity to witness all of the city's iconic landmarks. The City Tour guides you through the city's prominent tourist destinations, encompassing the Roman Baths, the Royal Crescent, and the enchanting Pulteney Bridge. Meanwhile, the Skyline Tour leads you along the opposite bank of the River Avon, granting you a glimpse of the University of Bath, the American Museum, and Prior Park and Landscape Gardens.
