Best for Couples
One of the most romantic cruises you can do on your trip to New York is the Bateaux New York dinner cruise. Especially when you book through ATD as you’ll receive a free glass of champagne each on arrival with our exclusive offer! After your arrival tipple, you’ll be shown to your private dining table where you’ll be treated to a three-course plated dinner with tea and coffee included as you’re serenaded by an acoustic trio. For an extra special occasion, upgrade your seating to the First Class Premier Package and be seated in the first-class area of the boat as you’re treated to personal service, an extra course and a premium open bar stocked with house wines, imported beers and soft drinks. Make sure you dress for the occasion, as the dress code is as fancy as the food!
Best for Dinner
If you’re all about the food, we’d recommend the Hornblower Manhattan Dinner Cruise, where you can feast on main courses such as roma crusted chicken in a lemon white wine sauce or ratatouille wellington with tri-colour romanesco sauce for the vegetarians. That’s if you have enough room after being welcomed on board with a selection of amuse bouches and delicious starters which include a choice of seared duck breast and butternut squash ravioli! To round off the evening, there’s a selectin of seasonal desserts sure to appeal to every taste. Although we recommend this cruise for the food, you’ll also be treated to the same great views as the other cruises, as well as a live DJ and after-dinner dancing, if you can leave your chair after all that delicious dinner!
Best for Brunch
Brunch is a New York institution and one of the institutions we really encourage you to get involved in on your trip! If you’re worried about sacrificing the sights for time at brunch though, then you needn’t be: get a ticket for the New York Jazzy Champagne Brunch Cruise and you can have your brunch and eat it too! As the 2-hour cruise makes it way past iconic landmarks like the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building, guests can tuck into a delicious breakfast buffet of hot and cold items. The buffet includes an omelette station, French toast, bacon waffles, salads, bagels, croissants, pastries and many many more things – including brunch desserts! This cruise only takes place on a Saturday and Sunday, so book early to be sure to secure your place.
Best for a Night Out
Sick of partying on dry land? Who isn’t! That’s what the new Rock the Yacht party river cruise was invented for. Spend 3 hours on board this luxury yacht partying to the sounds of a live DJ as you cruise past some of New York’s most iconic attractions. You can opt for cruise only from as little as £21 per person, but if you’re really want to get the party started we suggest the ‘Fully overboard’ package which includes bar snacks and a premium open bar – that means you can help yourself to snack food such as Coney Island hot dogs and New York-style pizza and order drinks from the spirits and premium wine selection. You’re guaranteed to have a great night out as well as get those all-important snaps of the Statue of Liberty, the Brooklyn Bridge and the Manhattan skyline.
Best for Lunch
If you can’t fit in the time to take a night-time cruise, or if you’re on more of a budget, the Bateaux New York Sightseeing Lunch Cruise is a great option. You get all the great sightseeing opportunities as the evening cruise including the Empire State Building, the One World Trade Center and the Brooklyn Bridge at only a third of the price of the evening cruise. The lunch cruise is a 3-course set menu and the cruise is just as much of an occasion as the evening event – with dressy clothes encouraged and a piano accompaniment as you enjoy your lunch.
