1. Dole Whip

You couldn’t start a post about the great snacks to try at Walt Disney World without first mentioning the Dole Whip! You can only get this frozen treat at Disneyland California, Disney’s Polynesian Resort and The Magic Kingdom, so try not to get too addicted, if you do try one. The Dole Whip is pineapple-flavoured soft serve ice cream served in a glass of pineapple juice and topped with a maraschino cherry – ideal if you love a fruity ice cream on a hot day.

Where can you get it? Aloha Isle, Sunshine Seasons

2. Chocolate Mickey Mouse Waffles

Walt Disney World is famous for its delicious Mickey-shaped waffles which you can find at most Disney breakfast buffets, but The Magic Kingdom has its very own special type of Mickey waffle for you to try. Chocolate Mickey Waffles are only available to try at the Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom so make sure you make a pit-stop there if you want to sample one!

Where can you get it?  Crystal Palace

3. Cheshire Cat Cupcake Cup

Why eat any boring old cupcake when you can eat a Cheshire cat themed cupcake served in a cup at The Magic Kingdom? Soft vanilla sponge is swirled with butter cream icing and topped with sprinkles and a picture of the cat himself, sporting his largest grin. You’ll need a spoon to eat this, but it’s much less messy than a normal cupcake.

Where can you get it? The Cheshire Café

4. Mickey ice cream

Things just seem to taste better when they’re Mickey-shaped, don’t you agree? These Mickey ice creams are everywhere at Walt Disney World, so you can find them at most snack counters within The Magic Kingdom. It’s an oldie but a goodie – soft, sweet vanilla ice cream wrapped in tasty milk chocolate – and a great way to cool down on a hot day at MK.

Where can you get it? Most snack stands.

5. Warm Cinnamon Bun

If you’re looking for something to warm you up after a soaking on Splash Mountain, a piping hot cinnamon bun should do the trick. The soft warm bread is drizzled with icing and a sprinkle of sugary sweet cinnamon, a big treat for one or a great treat to share between two. Team it with a foamy LeFou’s Brew on your pitstop at Gaston’s Tavern.

Where can you get it? Gaston’s Tavern and Main Street bakery
