Hunstanton SEA LIFE Sanctuary is a marine aquarium that takes visitors on a memorable undersea odyssey filled with close encounters with sea creatures of astonishing variety.

Dive in and be wowed by strange, beautiful and fascinating creatures, including adorable seals in Norfolk’s only seal rescue centre.

There are also penguins, otters and a tropical ocean tank with over 30 amazing different species of fish and a majestic Green Sea Turtle, Ernie. Prepare to be amazed!

Rainforest Ranger
Get up close with jungle beasties with our Rainforest Rangers! Immerse yourself in a world of creepy crawlies and curious critters. Come just centimetres away from a royal python and race our colony of leafcutter ants to find the queen. To date, at least 40,000 plant species, 427 mammals (e.g. jaguar, anteater and giant otter), 1,300 birds (e.g. harpy eagle, toucan and hoatzin), 378 reptiles (e.g. boa), more than 400 amphibians and around 3,000 freshwater fishes, including the piranha, have been found in the Amazon. Seal Hospital & Rescue Centre
SEA LIFE Hunstanton is home to Norfolk's only seal hospital & rescue centre, which is open to our visitors. You'll be able to follow the journey of our injured seals through their rescue. Here you will find an assortment of amazing creatures that are native to the UK, including 3 species of shark! Rockpool Rockpools are amazing micro-habitats full of incredible creatures! Are you brave enough to stroke a Sea Anemone, Starfish or Crab? Find out during your visit!

Mighty Amazon
Step out of the ocean and into the hot and humid rainforest to experience what life is like beneath the tropical treetops. Amazonia Rivers are home to some spectacular fish, amphibians & reptiles. Get a close look at the Piranhas with ruby-red bellies and see the menacing smile of a Cuvier’s Dwarf Caiman just snapping distance away.

Penguin Beach
Don’t miss Penguin Beach, where you can learn how to waddle with our 10 mischievous and adorable Humboldt penguins! You'll also meet our newest residents, Inca Terns - 'the birds with moustaches'!

Tropical Reef
Be prepared to be amazed as you come closer than ever before to an astonishing colourful assortment of creatures in our Tropical Reef displays filled with Blue Regal Tangs, Clown Fish and much more.

Ocean Tunnel
Our amazing Ocean display holds 187,500 litres of natural seawater and is home to over 30 amazingly different species of fish and our majestic Green Sea Turtle, Ernie!

Otter River
Meet our cheeky Asian Short Clawed Otters – Twix and Connie! Get a sneaky peek into their den via a private viewing glass and watch as they play in a specially designed river enclosure, complete with running stream & diving pool.
