Our guide to Grand Canyon West Rim by Coach
The scenic drive from Las Vegas takes you through the hauntingly beautiful Southwest Desert and past the amazing Hoover Dam and Lake Mead.
Continue through the heart of Indian country where you wind through a 900-year-old Joshua Tree Forest, which surrounds much of this high desert country.
Soon you arrive at the Grand Canyon West Rim where and you have around three hours to enjoy the amazing views and take a leisurely walk along the rim to see how Mother Nature carved an image of the Great Thunderbird into the cliff of the Canyon.
Explore the area at your own pace and see points of interest, including Eagle Point, Guano Point, and the Colorado River.
You will have time for attractions such as the Indian Village and Hualapai Ranch.
The Grand Canyon West Rim is more rugged and less developed with limited modern upgrades. It is therefore recommend that those requiring wheelchair assistance consider the Grand Canyon South Rim Tour by Coach option.
