Start your day in unforgettable style with a hot air balloon flight from Port Douglas. Your morning begins with a convenient hotel pick-up, taking you to the launch site in time to watch the spectacular balloon inflation as the sun rises.
Once airborne, float peacefully over the stunning Atherton Tablelands, enjoying views of rainforest-fringed mountains and tranquil countryside. Keep an eye out for local wildlife as you drift gently across this beautiful region on a classic scenic flight.
After landing, join in some light-hearted balloon pack-up games before boarding the coach. Return transfers commence from approximately 9:30 am, bringing your memorable morning experience to a relaxed close.

Terms and conditions for Classic Hot Air Balloon Flight from Port Douglas
- All pick-up and drop-off times are approximate and seasonal and will be confirmed upon booking.
- Children 0 to 2 years inclusive are not eligible to fly.
- For children aged 3 years and over - adult rates apply.
- Proof of age is required for children aged 3 to 5 years inclusive.
- All times are an INDICATION only. Please note that times do change in summer/winter/spring, exact start times are given on receipt of your full booking details.
- Pick-up times are confirmed when you re-confirm with the tour operator locally.
- Wear casual outdoor layered clothing suitable for a bush environment (white clothing is not recommended). Enclosed footwear is compulsory.
- In the event of inclement weather, the flight will be cancelled but can be rebooked for another day. If unable to travel on an alternative day, a full refund applies.
- Meals, ballooning souvenirs and in-flight photographs are not included.
- It is a Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) and company requirement that Passengers flying with the Operator must be able to climb INTO the basket unaided.
- Pregnant persons beyond 3 months (13 weeks) of pregnancy are not permitted to fly.
*Cancellation Policy:
Free cancellations and amendments are allowed for bookings cancelled with the tour operator up to 72 hours before your chosen activity date. Please keep in mind that there is a significant time difference between Australia and the UK, so be sure to allow for this when making your cancellation. After the 72-hour window, no amendments or refunds will be provided.
