Our guide to One Day Death Valley 4x4 Tour from Las Vegas
On this unforgettable tour you’ll leave the bright lights of Vegas behind you and drive west to Death Valley, an incredible national park overflowing with sights including ghost towns, abandoned gold mines and plenty of stunning natural features.
Meet your Certified Guide, hop into our luxurious Tour Trekker vehicle and get ready for a once-in-a-lifetime Las Vegas to Death Valley excursion. Don’t worry about the details; we’ve already packed lunch and bottled water, plus paid your park entrance fees.
On the way to Death Valley National Park, your expert local guide will share insights into the area’s climate, history, wildlife and terrain. From its elevation to its temperature, this incredible area is a land of unique extremes. A quick comfort stop at Death Valley Marketplace in Pahrump gives you a chance to refuel with old-fashioned soda pops, nostalgic candy and fun, handcrafted souvenirs. It’s the last stop on the road to California!
Dante’s View awaits your arrival. Towering over 5, 500 feet above the Death Valley salt flats, you’ll take in panoramic views of the colorful badlands and dry Lake Manly below. It’s one of the best scenic vistas in the park. Shop, explore exhibits and learn how life has been sustained in this extreme landscape at the Furnace Creek Visitor Center.
Don’t let the name fool you—Death Valley is alive, and for mind-blowing reasons to be discovered here. A visit to Harmony Borax Works offers a glimpse into the area’s boom and bust mining history. Tour historic mining and processing ruins and a replica of the Twenty Mule Team Wagons used to transport the mined borax. Your guide will share insights into the geology of the region as you drive along the salt flats and spires of the Devil’s Golf Course while enjoying lunch. Hear how the area’s remarkable altitude and terrain affect the weather to create one of the hottest places on the planet. (Don’t worry, our tours take place in the milder temps of September through May.)
Badwater Basin, the most famous spot in Death Valley, is next. Strike a pose at the 282-feet-below-sea-level elevation sign. Take the boardwalk out onto the otherworldly salt pans, but don’t forget your sunglasses! The white salt fields are blinding. On warm days, you may even hear the pops of salt crystals bursting.
Before leaving Death Valley National Park, you’ll marvel at the multi-hued hills of the Artists Palette along the Artists Drive Scenic Loop. Then, we’ll stop at the historic Inn at Death Valley, built in 1927, and nestled within The Oasis at Death Valley resort.
Your tour culminates with a mild off-road driving tour of Twenty Mule Team Canyon through the multi-coloured badlands seen in early Star Wars films. After an eventful day and luxury ride home, you'll be back at your hotel in time for dinner and the Vegas nightlife!

One Day Death Valley 4x4 Tour from Las Vegas Reviews

A truly great day. Apparently Zabriskie Point is no longer on the schedule. Given it was my only chance to visit Death Valley ever. i insisited that our guide, Gary L, take us there. He went the extra mile and did! Please pass onto Pink Jeep Tours. In addition, he took our group to get a picture by a Joshua Tree (no where else in the world can you get such a picture). A true spirit of generosity which made the day extra special. Its the add ons away from the already superb schedule that make the difference.

A most enjoyable tour made even more so in so much as our guide was informative, humorous and nothing was too much trouble. He took us to out of the way places and kept us informed and amused during the long trip to and from Death Valley. Would recommend this tour.
