Our guide to Bateaux Parisiens Lunch Cruise

Enjoy the majesty of Paris’s world-famous landmarks as you gently sail down the historic River Seine.

Your boat is entirely glassed over, so your views are unimpeded and as you indulge in your four-course lunch you will see the Eiffel Tower, the Notre Dame Cathedral, Hotel De Ville, the Louvre and the Grand Palais and much more.

The innovative menu is inspired by traditional French cuisine and all food is freshly prepared on board. There is a choice of 3 service options. Each service includes the same à la carte menu, wine, mineral water and coffee. 

Etoile Service

  • Table at the centre of the boat
  • Welcome glass of Kir
  • Choice of starter, main course and dessert
  • 1 bottle of red or white wine between 4 persons
  • Tables for 2 to 10 persons maximum

Privilège Service

  • Window table
  • Welcome glass Kir au Blanc de Blancs
  • Choice of starter, main course, selection of mature cheeses and dessert
  • 1 bottle of red and 1 bottle of white wine between 4 persons
  • Tables from 2 to 4 persons only.

Premier Service

  • Table at the front of the boat
  • Welcome glass of Champagne
  • Choice of starter, main course, selection of mature cheeses and dessert
  • 1 bottle of red and 1 bottle of white wint between 4 persons
  • Tables from 2 to 10 persons maximum.

Child option will have a reduced menu without the alcohol included.

Starter

  • Chicken and green pepper pâté-en-croute with mango & red onion chutney
  • A variation of heirloom tomatoes with creamy burrata and Romesco sauce (V)
  • Thin-crust bonito and vegetable caponata tart with spicy sauce & peanuts
  • Chilled green asparagus soup with horseradish hummus (V)

Main Course

  • French corn-fed chicken supreme with a reduced jus, cannelloni with Brousse cheese, spinach & morel mushrooms
  • Tender beef miroton stew, confit onions, glazed vegetables and spicy gherkin sauce
  • Fillet of gilthead seabream cooked in its skin, barigoule-style artichoke purée and sauce vierge
  • Confit seasonal vegetables and crispy tofu with tomato & saffron sauce

Desserts

  • Raspberry vanilla macaron
  • Concerto cake
  • Apricot & almond frozen dessert
  • Blueberry pavlova

Matured cheeses

  • Cheese matured by our Maître Fromager– Service Étoile: instead of dessert or in addition (8€)

Terms and conditions

Terms and conditions for Bateaux Parisiens Lunch Cruise

  • Advanced reservations are required. Please detail your chosen date at the time of booking.
  • Dress code is casual although no shorts or trainers are allowed on board. .
  • Ticket includes wine with lunch, mineral water and coffee. Additional drinks can be purchased on board.
  • The Paris Lunch Cruise departs from the foot of the Eiffel Tower, customers will need to make their own way to the departure point.
  • Boarding is from 12.00pm-12.30pm and the boat departs at 12.45pm. The cruise will not wait for late arrivals.
  • Please note - Bags are systematically checked and all jackets and coats must be opened for inspection at the entrance. Baggage over 16 litres in volume (apart from small backpacks, handbags and computer bags) are no longer accepted onboard.
  • For Group Bookings of more than 10 customers, please call our Customer Service line on 0208 090 3790 to check availability and discuss Group menu constraints.
  • Children are welcome onboard although the cruise is not recommended for children under 3. Please note - infants are subject to an insurance charge (approximately €30) which is payable locally.
  • Cancellation Policy: Free cancellations for bookings cancelled 30 days prior to the tour date. Bookings cancelled between 29 and 10 days prior to the tour date will be offered a 50% refund. No refunds are given for cancellations made within 10 days of tour date. For special dates (14 February, 14 July, 24 December, 25 December, 31 December), cancellation will not be possible.

    Yes, we are pleased to be able to offer free WiFi on all our Bateaux Parisien boats

General Information

  • Are children welcome on board Bateaux Parisiens cruises?

    Children are welcome onboard although the cruise isn't recommended for children under 3. Please note infants could be subject to an additional insurance charge (approximately €30) payable locally. The only service which has a specific child rate is the Etoile Service. All other services are at full price.

Food & Drink

  • What does the child's menu include?

    There is no specific children's menu on the Bateaux Parisiens Cruises. Children will receive the same meal as adults.
     

  • Do you offer a menu for specific diets?

    Yes, our menu includes vegetarian dishes: starter, mains and dessert and we are able to offer specific menus such as, gluten-free, lactose-free, residue-free, fibre-free and diabetic. We recommend you order your specific menu when booking.

    The price remains the same in accordance with the service option you have chosen as you are paying for an all-inclusive menu service with à la carte selection (pre-dinner drinks, starter, main dish, dessert, mineral water, coffee and wines).
     

  • If we do not want to drink alcoholic beverages, can we change the drinks included in the service?

    Yes, of course. You are welcome to choose a non-alcoholic beverage to replace the drinks included in the service option you have chosen. Prices remain the same.

Accessibility

  • Do the cruises offer access for persons with reduced mobility?

    Bateaux Parisiens welcomes people with reduced mobility, with the exception of cruises departing from Notre-Dame. 


    For safety measures, the number of seats may be limited depending on the configuration of the boat, do not hesitate to call us on +33 1 76 64 14 45 once your internet reservation has been made. The lavatory on our boats is only accessible by stairs. Toilets for people with reduced mobility are available on the Debilly (n°7) and Bourdonnais (n°5) pontoons (Eiffel Tower stop) before boarding.
