The best hotel for families with young children
If you’re travelling with little ones, Explorers Hotel Marne-la-Vallée is hard to beat. This four-star hotel is designed specifically with families in mind, and its centrepiece - a 200m² indoor water playground with three waterslides and a pirate ship - is exactly the kind of thing children remember for years. It’s open from 8am to 11pm, so it fits neatly around your park days rather than competing with them.
Beyond the pool, there's Scally Wagg's Jungle Adventure (a two-level indoor soft play with a giant ball pool), an arcade room, and a 10D cinema with interactive chairs and special effects (payable locally). Adjoining rooms can accommodate up to 10 guests together - a practical solution for larger families!
Breakfast is included in the rate, which takes the pressure off of busy mornings, and the free shuttle gets you to Disneyland® Paris in around 10 minutes! It’s a place that genuinely feels like part of the holiday and not just somewhere to sleep between park days.
The best hotel for the Disney atmosphere
If your family wants to feel swept up in the magic, but the on-site Disney hotel prices are a stretch, Dream Castle Hotel Paris is worth serious consideration. This four-star hotel has a fairy-tale castle theme that children will find exciting, and it comes with two heated pools: an indoor pool and an outdoor pool open from May to October, centred around the Dragoon Lagoon theme. There’s also a spa and wellness centre for adults, a fitness centre, hot tub (18+ only), an arcade games room and an enchanted forest adventure playground.
Breakfast is included, and the free shuttle reaches Disneyland® Paris in around 8 minutes. It’s consistently one of our most popular off-site choices. It bridges the gap between a standard hotel stay and the immersive experience families are hoping for.
It’s worth noting that the outdoor pool will be closed 22-28 June 2026, so if you’re travelling around that time, make sure to factor this in.
The best hotel for value-seekers who still want a pool
Grand Magic Hotel Marne-la-Vallée offers a strong combination of price, facilities and atmosphere. Breakfast is included, there’s a large indoor heated pool on site (with a separate paddling pool for the little ones), a hot tub, sauna, fitness centre, beauty salon and arcade games room. The rooms are decorated with constellations and star themes, and there’s a large private garden and lake area outside. The free shuttle puts the parks within easy reach in under 10 minutes.
It’s a solid mid-range choice for families who want more than a basic room but don’t need the premium extras that come with the four-star options at the top of the market. Bear in mind that the pool is closed 9-22 November 2026, so if your trip falls in this window, Explorers Hotel or Dream Castle may be a better fit.
The best hotel for tech-lovers and spa fans
Opened in early 2024, Ki Space Hotel & Spa is one of the newer additions to our range of Disneyland® Paris Area Hotels, and one of the more distinctive too. This four-star hotel has a stylish, minimalist design with a playful high-tech edge, including a robot bartender at the Nomad Lounge Bar! Rooms are spacious and most feature fully-equipped kitchens, making it a comfortable base for longer stays.
The leisure facilities are impressive: an indoor heated pool, hot tub, spa and wellness centre, and a full fitness room. The Nomad Restaurant offers international cuisine covering Asian, American and Mediterranean dishes.
The free shuttle to Disneyland® Paris takes around 15-20 minutes - slightly longer than some other Area Hotels, but the facilities on offer make it a compelling package if you want something beyond the standard stay.
The best hotel for large groups and self-caterers
Travelling with grandparents, extended family or multiple families together can make standard hotel rooms feel impossibly cramped. Staycity Aparthotels near Disneyland® Paris solves that problem well. Studios, one-bedroom apartments and spacious villas are available, capable of accommodating up to 16 people, and all come with fully-equipped kitchenettes or kitchens so you can prepare your own breakfasts and snacks (a very useful saving when you’re feeding a crowd!). There’s also a Starbucks in the lobby, a café bar and restaurant, a children’s play area, fitness room and arcade room.
The outdoor heated pool is open during the summer months and sits beside a lake and garden area with a sun terrace. The free shuttle to the parks takes around 10 minutes. Having your own self-contained space to come back to at the end of a big day out makes a real difference to your stay.
For a similar apartment-style setup at a slightly smaller scale, Aparthotel Adagio Serris Val d’Europe is another excellent option, accommodating up to six guests in spacious self-catering apartments with fully-equipped kitchens. The complex also has a sauna, fitness room and an outdoor pool (open May to September). The pool is closed 8-24 June 2026 for maintenance, so check the dates against your travel plans.
For those who’d prefer to be right beside Val d’Europe itself, Aparthotel Adagio Marne la Vallée Val d'Europe is a third self-catering option. It offers apartments for up to seven guests, a heated indoor pool, children's play area and a free shuttle to the parks.
The best hotel for shoppers
Not everyone in the group shares the same enthusiasm for early mornings and queue strategy, and that’s completely fine. Hôtel l'Elysée Val d'Europe has the feel of a chic Parisian boutique hotel, with elegant architecture, interior gardens and personalised service. It sits in the heart of Val d’Europe shopping centre - one of Europe’s largest and most impressive shopping centres - with the RER train station just 250 metres from the hotel’s front door.
The free shuttle reaches Disneyland® Paris in around 11 minutes, and the RER train from Val d’Europe station is just as quick. It’s an ideal base if your trip blends park days with a bit of Parisian-style retail time, and for anyone wanting to reach central Paris, you’re looking at around 35 minutes on the train.
The best hotel for animal lovers and nature fans
Campanile Val de France is something a little different to the hotels we’ve already mentioned here. Set in a charming lakeside location in the French countryside, it’s one of the more unexpected stays near Disneyland® Paris, and its onsite educational farm is a great highlight for children. Rabbits, alpacas, goats and ponies all call it home, and for younger children in particular, spending time there before or after a park day can feel like a lovely, calming retreat. There’s also an outdoor playground, an arcade room and a merry-go-round on site.
Breakfast is included, and the free shuttle drops you at Disneyland® Paris in around 9 minutes. The hotel even offers a paid shuttle to Charles de Gaulle Airport three times a day which is useful if you’re flying in. If the idea of waking up to the countryside rather than a car park sounds appealing, this is the one for you.
The best hotel for adults and couples
Relais Spa Val d'Europe is the standout choice for adults visiting without children, or couples looking for a stay that feels like a genuine treat. The four-star hotel is home to a NUXE® Spa with a range of rejuvenating treatments, alongside a sauna, steam room and indoor pool. Access to the leisure facilities is reserved for guests aged 16 and over, with the exception of two family windows each day (10am-12pm and 3pm-5pm) when younger guests can use the facilities under parental supervision.
Rooms are stylish and well-appointed, many with fully equipped kitchens for added convenience. The free shuttle to the parks takes around 5 minutes - one of the shortest journey times of any Area Hotel.
There’s something genuinely enjoyable about the contrast between a day of Disney excitement and an evening of proper spa relaxation, and this hotel delivers that balance brilliantly! Our guide to what to do at and around Disneyland® Paris at night has more ideas for making the most of your evenings.
The best hotel for families wanting four-star reliability
Sometimes you want a hotel you simply know will deliver - comfortable rooms, a pool, reliable service and an easy journey to the parks. Radisson Blu Hotel Paris, Marne-la-Vallée, does exactly that. Set within a 2.5-hectare green park on the edge of the Disneyland Golf Course, it has a pleasant setting that makes it feel removed from the theme park bustle.
The indoor pool, sauna, steam room and fitness centre are all included for guests, and there’s an outdoor children’s playground and an on-site adventure game (“Secret de Scarlet”) to keep the little ones entertained. The hotel has also earned Green Key eco-friendly status!
The free shuttle reaches Disneyland® Paris in around 7 minutes. For families who find comfort in booking a well-known brand with a strong track record, it’s a dependable and enjoyable choice.
The best hotel for families who like space and resort amenities
Marriott Village d'Île-de-France has a relaxed, village-resort atmosphere that sets it apart from more conventional hotels. Spread across its own grounds overlooking the Disneyland Golf Course, it offers studios for two guests right up to three-bedroom townhouses with full kitchens, furnished terraces and outdoor soaking tubs, sleeping parties of up to eight. The leisure facilities are extensive: an indoor pool, an outdoor pool (seasonal), sauna, steam room, outdoor hot tub, fitness centre, kids’ club and playground.
One important practical note: unlike most Disneyland® Paris Area Hotels, Marriott Village doesn’t offer a free shuttle. A paid shuttle operates at €3 per person, payable at reception, and the parks are also accessible by car in around 10 minutes.
Val d’Europe Shopping Centre and RER station are approximately 5km away. We recommend factoring in transport arrangements when budgeting, but for families who want somewhere that genuinely feels like a self-contained resort, it’s a lovely option.
The best hotel for tight budgets
If your priority is keeping accommodation costs as low as possible so you can spend more on tickets, dining and extras, we have a few honest, no-frills options that do exactly that.
B&B Hotel Disneyland® Paris offers clean, comfortable rooms alongside a breakfast buffet (included in the rate) and a free shuttle to the parks running every 20 minutes from 8am to midnight. It’s a pet-friendly property situated next to a lake, and the breakfast alone makes it an unusual value at this price point.
Holiday Inn Express Marne-la-Vallée is another strong budget pick, also with breakfast included. Opened at the end of 2022, it’s a modern, well-equipped hotel with free parking for up to 75 vehicles and 11 EV charging stations. It doesn’t have a free shuttle, but the nearest RER station connects you to the parks in around 25 minutes on public transport.
Ibis Budget Marne-la-Vallée Val d'Europe is the lowest-cost option in our range of Disneyland® Paris Area Hotels. It’s ideal if the accommodation budget is tight and the priority is simply a comfortable, convenient place to sleep. There’s no shuttle, but the hotel is one stop from the parks on the RER and around a 35-minute walk for those who prefer it.
What to know about staying off-site at Disneyland® Paris
The main practical consideration with Disneyland® Paris Area Hotels is simple: almost all of them offer a free shuttle to the parks, with journey times ranging from around 5 minutes (Relais Spa) to 15-20 minutes (Ki Space Hotel). The exceptions are Holiday Inn Express, Ibis Budget and Marriott Village - with Holiday Inn Express and Ibis Budget served by public transport, and Marriott Village offering a paid shuttle at €3 per person. It’s also worth knowing that many Disneyland® Paris Area Hotels are within walking distance of the parks for those who’d rather not wait for a bus.
The key trade-off between off-site and on-site Disney hotels is Extra Magic Time - the 60 minutes of early park access that on-site guests can enjoy before general opening. If getting ahead of the queues is a priority, it’s worth reading our full guide to on-site vs off-site hotels at Disneyland® Paris before you decide. For many families, however, the savings on accommodation more than make up for it, particularly when those savings go towards Disney Premier Access, an extra park day or dining experiences inside the parks.
