Murder, mayhem, and music
As the sun sets over Golden Gate Park, we’ll begin our exploration of Haight-Ashbury, famous for the Summer of Love, hippies, and counterculture. But the park is also known for bloodshed. It’s said as many as 151 murders took place here in 1969 alone.
