Our guide to Boeing Factory Tour including Future of Flight Aviation Center
Boeing is an integral part of our past and future, with manufacturing centres all over the Seattle area. We will travel 30 miles north to the Everett plant, featuring a hanger with the greatest cubic capacity of any building in the world (472 million cubic feet by volume). It’s so lofty and long that even a 747 looks dwarfed. Witness the awe-inspiring process of jumbo jet assembly up close, relax in the new 240-seat theater and watch a dramatic time-lapse film of the complete assembly of a Boeing 777 airplane. See several planes in various stages of assembly and manufacture for airline customers around the world. Drive by the flight line for a look at completed aircraft as they are readied for painting and testing before final delivery. From the balcony Boeing tour visitors can see airplanes under various stages of construction.
In the Future of Flight Aviation Center you can explore the spacious Aviation Center through interactive exhibits and learn about the newest developments in the airline industry. Design your own cutting-edge aircraft and ride the exhilarating two passenger XJ5 Flight Simulator. Enjoy a panoramic view of Paine Field and the Cascade mountain range from the outdoor observation deck. Visit The Boeing Store for authentic Boeing clothing and souvenirs.
